to me it reads that we have learned a bit from the past and realize playing the best players...actually has a positive effect...and to actually prioritize how you construct certain aspects of said roster and where the key areas are... .see the dline for example Next up figure out the offence and stop wasting a wr spot...sure one can say that the 5th option nary gets a ball anyway so no big deal...but why have it as a 5th option? and or just a place holder who offers no real substance?...make it an option teams have to account for...the more actual playmakers and threats you have...the more effective an offence will be and makes more room for the actual 1a/1b guys

Walking our dog Gracie last night I thought of a scenario and what the correct call would be. Let's say from last week Sergio was wide left on his last second field goal attempt and it was caught deep in the end zone. Calgary player who caught it attempted to kick it out of their end zone but it was blocked by one of our players and subsequently recovered in the end zone by a Blue Bomber. That's a touchdown for us, correct? Or?

Yeah i was thinking that too. For a team i keep hearing from all the "pundits" as a favorite for the cup, their lineup leaves a lot to be desired IMO. Quite a few meh players at significant positions.

Hamilton doesn't have much of a run game and seems to rely on BLM to Lawler and K.Smith, so a beefed up pass rush seems wise.

To me, this reads as a pretty good indication that we're going to start playing our lineup to match the opponent this season ... which is something we used to do a lot more of but kind of got away from. I don't think you're going to see Bouliane or Kelly getting any kind of significant reps on defense unless there's an injury of some kind but I do think you're going to see a few interesting sets that might find one of them on the field here and there. Hamilton's OL doesn't look very strong on paper and I would imagine we're going to see a lot of pressure on Bo. God, reading Hamilton's depth chart their whole team kinda sucks. Yikes.

Like the 7 man DL. Worried about Boulaine or worse Kelly getting D reps.

he is no Smith....hence tho the downgrade and a raw rookie....no slight against him...just what it is. If he was an upgrade he woulda bumped one of Smith..Shay..Hallett..Kelly....off the roster...or replaced one of Stuart or Clarke...so in effect had 6 guys ahead of him deemed better...tho it is Osh so you never know hahaha

I like the extra DL in place of the extra LB... Smith to Boulaine is likely a huge downgrade... hopefully we start to see Shay get some defensive reps...
