  2. Like his productivity, even though it was D2. I worry about the reliability and durability of guys who play 2-3 years and catch 30-50 passes. Even less than 100 is not a lot in game success. I also like his hands. Looks like hes catching everything with hands extended and not body catching. Solid size as well. He listed 6'3 200 in college, but his pro day was 6'1 and 194. Don't so much like his route running / film and athleticism. I don't see much in his get-off, breaks, or his trade craft in beating DBs. He looks to lean on his superior athletic ability vs D2, and his tremendous hands. He's a decent athlete, 4.54 40, 33" vert, 10' broad, 4.22 SS, 7.09 3 cone. That's OK, speed numbers and slightly better Agility. But on his game film, he's just walking away from guys, but doesn't look explosive or like he has a great top gear. He runs like he's 225-230, but plays like he's a low 4.3 guy. The upside: He could really benefit from the waggle if he figures it out quickly. He could also fit our scheme really well. Zach loves guys like him. He looks like a small-school, less polished Kenny Lawler, without the circus catch ability. If Kenny is a 10/10 in hands, McLeod is maybe 8/10. Or a less polished, less athletic Schoen. For his upside any way, his down side is a bigger version of McKnight.
  3. Justin McInnis college film would not look inspiring either and yet his size and catch radius cancels out all of his negative attributes.

  5. IMO a lot of the hc and gm changes are full on rebuilds after collapse. Hamilton is the predominant current case to look at. Dickenson moved up and of course kept him self as hc, boy that wouldn’t be a fix here lol. Ringmaiden moved up last year and brought in Buck this year. I don’t think we need to emulate other teams in doing this though. Outliers work too, like the Steelers never firing hcs. Danny Mac interviewed for the Hamilton job. If he’s interested in the life style change of living up here full time I’d consider promoting him from with in. Sunderland could be a candidate as well though far from top of my list. Having Deslauriers and Gulakow is a big help for supporting gms too. You have a guy who knows the Canadians scouting and draft extremely well and a guy who can do day to day football ops stuff and logistics.
  6. Today
  7. That’d be a shame said no one ever except for @bluto
  8. I think the injury is that bad and it's been like 8 months. Reasonable probability he doesn't get back to playing shape this season or ever.
  9. Hard to not be disappointed with this signing. I wouldn't even have guys in my database who are less than 4x All-Americans.
  10. This kind of stuff is hard to look up. Obviously if the timing was right and Walters was out Ted Goveia would have been next man up... Has there been much overall success with hiring a GM outside of the organization and keeping the HC on? It seems like for the most part the incoming GM would want their guy in there. Looking at current staffs it looks like the only team with a coach not hired by the GM is Hamilton? And Milanovic is just in his second year there. I guess the statement here is that yeah it's probably easier to replace the GM, but historically I think that ends up with a HC replacement pretty soon thereafter.
  11. @kelownabomberfan We are tied now. Game on!
  12. I hear he has already surpassed Mitchell on the depth chart.
  13. Even though we are a salty bunch as of late, we *do* appreciate you taking the time to share with us DT - thank you!
  14. And by AR, you mean in Hamilton right? 😂
  15. maybe he takes osh??...lol
  16. Vpool was shaky at best Person got 4 snaps....so no chance to show anything never moind get into any kind of game groove pretty much...Our coaching tho sucked the most tho...inexcusable after a bye...and playing the same team again who basically changed....nothing...and we still got schooled by them
  17. prob look at him...an then say see ya camp 2026 I figured he may be done awhile...of not all yr.... And is the best we could scrounge up?....no wow factor there and cant see him exceling in the slot....
  18. Wonder if this means Schoen is done.
  19. they had a couple dline guys get knicked...on Laing a Canadian...we should do Jake a solid and let him play closer to home and bundle him and someone up for anything...even a mid round pick...If he is as good as we nhink here a team would jump at that and his pail of glue??...No? well...a guy who can playand make plays....hardly complaining...we dumped him for what??...Nothing?.. we inloaded 2 of our 3 ends and replaced 1 ....and yeah...we dumped Fox why?...cause we had Jake and Korn??,,,we didnt need to go national DT...One for rotation would be fine there was a flag thrown actually....just not by him....but he had backside view of hit so prob hard to see crown hit chin.....right call got made none the less tho which is good
  20. 6”3, hopefully be ready to get on the AR for 2028
  21. FWIW: Bomber starting receivers: Wheatfall - 6'1", Clercius - 6'3", Case - 5'10", Demski - 5'11", Sterns - 5'8" Stampeder starting receivers: Jones - 6'3", Alford - 6'6", Rhymes - 6'4", Brooks - 5'7", Philpot - 6'0" Bomber starting DBs: Bonds - 5'8", Nichols - 5'9", Parker - 5'8", Holm - 5'11", Bridges - 5'11" Stampeder starting DBs: Johnson - 6'2", Arnold - 6'1", Webb - 5'11", Grant - 6'0", Greene - 6'1" I've drawn some conclusions from the height discrepancies.....
  22. Just an utter waste of the use of our DA's....and dline roster in general....Ayers reps as a DE is pointless...and soley on short yardage basically Jones and Kramdi's lunches are getting eaten....neither can play in space.....bit we just kep hammering away at that Lawson finally caught up to Thomas's reps but of his 167 to date...thats about 167 too many....Kornalson as well shown zip....Put Schmeck back in and see what the difference is and if theuy both show nothing....get em off the roster...we dont need 2 redundant Canadian DT's who offer next to nothing and find one who does...or put a Canadian skilled position player....but thats a stretch too unless Kelly is ready...and even then I'd swap Kelly for Novack and Bailey for one of Korn/Thomas....Ideally both and get Cobb on roster Kelly has been one our best ST guys and can actually rep on defence...Noval can't...and would not be missed on teams....Cobb has experience as a receiver and returner and would offer as much as either Case or Sterns so may as well et him and allow us to get J.Jones on roster...Ideally we sit T.Jones a few games and thatgets us Woods on too when he ready.....and all the while we are bringing in Dline and Receiver guys to find either legit depth...or guys that can make who have now depth...win win Standing pat and "checking the tape" is just code for we good....we have no clue...or we just plain stupid
  23. Yup it’s like here you want extra steamboats? Coming up.
  24. Picks this week need to be in by Thursday @ 8 PM Standings are below:
  25. Kelly rehabbing an ingrown toenail removal? Lol.
  26. That was a crazy head shot Brown took & you're right the ref saw the play right in front of him & didn't even react. Which is a problem as there needs to be some kind of standard where penalties need to be called.
