I blame in on Cuthbert, he jinxed it when he remarked they could use it to score two goals to take the lead. That's right Noeller, Cuthbert's fault. :-) Man it would have been enjoyable to watch Morrissey display his skills on the world stage but wasn't meant to be. If his injury is at all serious and playing could risk further damage, shut him down for the rest of the season unless of course Helle plans on getting us back into playoff contention.

Connor sure looked unhappy. He barely smiled even when he received his gold medal. When he did it was more polite than anything. Not much clapping either for his teammates when they got their medals. He looked more Canadian with the disappointment written all over their faces then a guy that was a part of a gold medal team. You could see he was like a window shopper looking in from the outside. His face & mannerisms said it all.

We know how the CFL does its business. By publicly saying he wants to work for the CFL in any capacity, the BOG's will take that as a threat. So, Morreale just poisoned any chance for him to work in the CFL Head Office. That's how this league works.

Yep. I love what jy and hall, but that is pretty much the only stretch of time we had that consistent disruption/pressure. Haven’t had great personnel on the dl over that time, but we also haven’t developed or made use of guys in that time. I hope hall and thomas focus on the dl and disruption while jy runs coverage. we’ve seen hall run some brilliant front concepts when he’s had the horses.

That's what they did in 2019 & 2021. Base D with a ferocious front 4 applied pressure. Then you add Biggie & the pass D & that's why we gave up just 181 points in 14 games in 2019. Ritchie Hall's D killed other teams.

That's a tough loss, but you have got to be able to score on a 5 on 3 with all that offensive talent - it shouldn't matter who's in net.
