If Wheatfall came back, he didn't make a catch after his crash, but also didn't notice Corcoran on offence at all other than in a short yardage blocking role.

This is pretty much Riderfans during any Bomber game

.....Well the game showed Zack is back.....hope he can keep it going ....Also showed that Demski's physical problem, that made him a game time decision, kind of evaporated...Played a great game and was having fun out there .....Liked our defensive effort mostly....blew coverage on a Elk receiver that cost us a td but otherwise a good showing....Kept Ford from revving his engine and taking off most of the game ...I believe Zack out rushed him and that's saying something ...heh heh.....AND that bull$hit call on Holm for interference was unbelievable....That was a pic that should have stood....Hope Wheatfall is good to go next game ...he took a pretty good rap and sort of disappeared after that....Can't lose his clutch play....All in all beat a a club on 4 days rest ...has to make the team feel good... ....
-
yeah that was an ugly one....not typical of us...3 guys basically had brain cramps on the same play

https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/canadiens-acquire-noah-dobson-from-islanders/ New Montreal Canadiens defenceman Noah Dobson is signing an eight-year deal worth $9.5 million per season, TSN Hockey Insider Chris Johnston confirms. The deal makes Dobson the joint-14th highest-paid blueliner in the NHL.

Seeing that big bust live from up top in the stadium was something else. I don't think a receiver could ever be more open than that. He was 30 yards away from any DB.

Lots to learn from that game. Edmonton exposed our coverages by running switch routes where guys cross and go vertical to other side of field they started from. Our HB's and Safety made really bad reads on what route they needed to prioritize on some of those plays and Edmonton hit/almost hit several big plays off those. Nichols kind of got lost on the TD and jumped eligible OL...but really who cares about that guy at midfield, not a threat, while Bridges stayed with his guy across the field and the other wideout got passed off twice, third time (when he turned vertical) to no one because Nichols was out in the flat on a OL. Then he was running by himself to the endzone with the ball. You know it's a bad bust when a guy is running completely free on a play from the minus side of midfield because our coverages hugely prioritize sitting on vertical routes basically until they cross the 30. But the games are so long, have 4-5 negative plays are going to happen. You want to be able to get those back with turnovers and sacks.

100% "we're going to lose tonight" lol. have some back bone man.
-
yeah...exactly...the last 3 all were a loss...for basically the same 2...3 reasons....and in 2025...we doing the exact same things again for most part in a couple those areas.....cant say we are playing injured guys over guys we have no trust in...or didnt play at all...never mind give a chance to see if they can actually play when it matters most...but were aren't there yet....but at first glance...we gonna have no end with any experience to take any load of WJ or Vaughters...or cover then if they banged up...and we continue to run out some inferior DT's...and if a couple of the are the best we have...hence they playing..thats a serious eff up in off-season recruiting and planning

Please change my pick from Skn to BC. Thanks again.

He should just go away with what little pride he has left. Imagine having to back that guy up & your HC thinks he's better than you Five to 10 snaps would be too many. Everything as they were losses.

Anyone have a video? Was at the game and couldn't tell for sure on the big screen. I can't find anywhere, not in the highlight packages. I'm going by what Holm said https://3downnation.com/2025/06/26/12-thoughts-on-the-winnipeg-blue-bombers-improving-to-3-0-with-win-over-edmonton-elks/ “In this league, if he falls, it’s probably a penalty, so that’s what we err on the side of,” said Holm. “If a defensive player falls, it’s nothing. When an offensive player falls, it’s (pass interference). I didn’t really need to even be near him a little bit — I could have played the ball later, so I could be maybe a yard off. It’s how this league is, so I gotta know that.” Incidental pass interference is most often called when a receiver is accidentally tripped by a defensive back. Watching the replay back, it didn’t look like Holm made any contact with Julien-Grant’s lower body — the receiver appeared to trip over his own feet. “I don’t know that you can win that one (if you challenge the call),” said head coach Mike O’Shea. “I don’t think Evan Holm even touched him. Evan says he didn’t really touch him, but he also said, ‘We’re not winning that challenge, coach.’ He liked that we didn’t (challenge). Evan’s so good and so clean in his coverage, I don’t know that he touched him. It looked like the receiver might have tripped himself, like stubbed his toe. Evan had his hand out, but I don’t think he pushed him.”

If the refs miss a call one game....they shouldn't be allowed to call it any other game. That's essentially the logic being used over there.

I know the usual suspects are gonna lose their wad on this but Kramdi is in same boat as T.Jones...good in box...crashing down at line...run blitzes...but serious holes...lost in space....has a hard time running with receivers/backs and is not a good tackler/form tackler...he's a shin diver and doesn't wrap up......Is he good?...he's adequate and wont kill you...could we be better...most definitely...why dont we use the better player...(and I can think of 3 easily off top my head) no frickin clue...just an Osh preference and the Canadian aspect of it I sure makes him all giddy I use to rag on Holm a lot but he has really upped part of his game to accommodate for some his weak points...And has done so as he was given the opportunity as a young player/rookie...hence it is so vital to give guys opportunities, as you dont know until you test them...and this day and age practices wont facilitate the opportunity 30 yr old T.Jones......he is what he is.....Jake...he is what he is...and not even close to what he was...which wasnt much and he aint gonna get better...Kramdi too...he's hit his ceiling, but is very valuabloe as a guy who can come in in a lot of situations and gives you great depth if injury....and the CDN part makes him even more valuable as a super sub Kolo...holes all over his game...at his ceiling and zero upside there...

Collaros was pinpoint on his throws which was awesome to see. It looked to me (as someone who isn't really a football guy so take it for what it's worth) that Edmonton was playing extremely close to the line on first down and running downhill. Wish we would have stretched their defense out on first down a bit more. But credit to the Elks D. Kyrie Wilson and Tony Jones had great games, not so much Kramdi (making tackles after getting beat). D-line, didn't seem like they were getting a tonne of pressure. DBs...too many breakdowns. Not sure what was happening there. Was great to see Bonds make a big play in a game like that but sucks it was called back. Not the best game but it was a short week. I think that shone through a bit. Happy with how the team rallied in the 4th with the gale force winds at their back.

No harris, no Rourke, that game is gonna be a real thriller lol
-
Legit, I don't think Deatrick Nichols has a hole in his game. Most players who are extreme outliers have holes in their game. Holm is a good example, though he has grown a lot. Especially if you are a db, if you have a big gap in your game people are going to exploit the crap out of you. Football is too dependent on 1-on-1s to be able to get by being heavily flawed. That's why we see so many teams play a nose or cross the face of Kola now. Why teams read WJ, etc.
