  2. He is not eligible for the NFL International Player Pathway. Must be outside US/Canada passport.
  3. Hamilton might not be better than .500 when we play them. Their splits at home and vs the west are bad as well. Bc was above .500 when we beat them as well. I actually think Hamilton is the most likely to win for us. They are 2-2 at home and 2-4 vs the West. While we are 2-3 on the road, we are also just 3-3 vs the West. With all that said, though, since the schedule is so poorly balanced, it is really hard to place value on the strength of schedule and record vs X situation. So damn many home and away series, season series wrapped up in 1/3 of the year, 2 away games in 5 days, type of situations. I think the road to us winning 2 of 3 would likely start with a blowout in the LDC. If we get slapped and SSK hangs a big number, they might have a considerable hangover in the BJB and struggle on O, giving us a chance to finally answer back for being punched in the mouth. Then, if we roll that into some momentum in Hamilton, we could thread the needle and turn lemons into lemonade. I think that would likely require some tough changes after the LDC, though. I think the likely case is that we get swept, and that's the wake-up call to bring some urgency to Hamilton. Our "one week at a time" thing went from playing each game like the play offs to preping for each game like its week 1. And the previous games review went from not getting too big a head from winning most weeks to writting off loses cus hey it's a new week and we just go 1-0!
  4. He'll be at the rum hut, in a bomber jersey. Should be easy to spot Call me crazy, but I agree with you on this part. Riders outside of 1 drive, didn't look all that great on Saturday against the stamps. But I suppose that happens when you have a dline that creates pressure. Huge 2 games for the blue.
  5. Taking Brady for now but reserve the right to change my mind....
  6. I just hope we don't get embarrassed by the Riders. If we lose, we lose, just don't be by 50 points.
  7. I agree that 1-2 is most likely. That would make us 1-5 against +.500 teams & those are the teams we will meet in the playoffs. Yes... I said playoffs. IMO we get third if BC doesn't learn to play D and the cross over if they do.

  9. I think Elgersma also gets helped a bit by the International Player Pathway... because he is a Canadian out of USports I think that the Packers can get an exemption to keep him on the PR where he doesn't take up a Practice Roster slot.
  10. Today
  11. Clifford is also on his 3rd year with the Packers but hasn't really progressed. He's gone from second string to PR to being outplayed by a raw rookie so yeah I wouldn't be surprised if they try to develop Elgersma either.
  12. At this point I could see Elgersma easily getting but on the Packers PR.
  13. I wouldnt be surprised to see Elgersma stick over Clifford as QB3. He outplayed him by a large margin in preseason. Four years younger and has higher upside.
  14. I'd rather see him in more game action, but that would mean losing games. I don't want to get rid of him, but I also don't think he ends up being an impact qb. Still seems all tools no intangibles. I would keep an older qb on the roster because even older and injured they both provide more value. I think I was duped by a couple of cut projection lists, actually, my bad.
  15. Where did you see this? As far as i can see online there havent been any cuts announced yet.
  16. Why keep any veteran? Because the goal is to win now. You can't just throw every veteran out the door because a new kid arrives. We don't know what Wilson can do, but the coaches do. They have deemed him to be behind that veteran and therefore the most replaceable QB on our AR.
  17. Thing is, we don't know what Wilson can do. I'd like to see him get some playing time. I have a feeling this team will at some point go full speed rebuild so why keep an older injured qb on the roster?
  18. Strev is going nowhere, and Wilson likely gets IR'd if they feel the need to have Elg's on the roster The greek fella is so low on the pole, and really proved nothing he likely gets PR'd or just released, and in all honesty prob doesn't sign anywhere else and bump any one else's number 3 off a roster As seen Strev has value in a multitude of ways, has shown can win games, and totally embodies what we look for here....Pass final judgement when he actually a second yr removed ffom his surgery...he's hardly a yr as it it I bet in the end he ends up as a guy here who "can" play QB but morphs into a reciever/rb type and we roster him as a non-qb and effectively could have 4 on roster if we so choose to dress 3 A lot can also happen between now and 2026 with players...and staff...so maybe none of the 4 here currently are even here next....or maybe just 1
  19. I’d try to get strev or chase onto the ir. strev has some value around the league and I’d try to trade him before cutting. You could cut chase and have him back in next years tc. but i think elgersma needs more involvement than pr. Strev can win a game, ugly or other wise, in a pinch when starting. I don’t think wilson can. so if i really had to choose right now, It’d be wilson.
  20. Back in around 2006-10, the Calgary Vipers used to rent out the baseball stadium beside McMahon Stadium (which has been demolished) for Rider fan socials outdoors. They'd have it going for four to five hours before the game & let them party.. Most of these obnoxious idiots would then stumble over to McMahon Stadium so drunk that the stadium security & CCP were busy putting out fights between the fanbases all game long. Even Rider fans woud fight amongst themselves. Finally, someone got some sense & told the Vipers to stop renting out their facility to these numbnuts & the nonsense ended.
  21. No way we PR him imo. He comes to AR as our number 3 and Wilson goes to the PR. As a NAT QB he would be claimed off our PR in a heartbeat.
  22. Whatever. Doesn't matter if he throws for over 6000 yards this season or that he beat us to win the Grey Cup. He's just a shitty qb that's maybe a little bit better than Streveler. What a brutal take.
  23. Bolded are all you really needed to say
  24. I'd take Dinwiddie. He knows how to build a roster, unlike Osh. Hardrick whiffed his block. I'm no expert on OL play but another DL crossed his face inside so just what was the Guard supposed to do??? Just let his man go to help him? As Bill Bellichek used to say. "Do your job".
  25. I mean. Arbuckle still has brain farts like throwing picks at the worst possible times or fumbling when he needs to hang on to the football. Those things can be claned up. However, his performance this season has been an eye opener. He shredded the Lions D on Saturday. On track to throw for over 6,000 yards. The Rider fans that show up for the games at McMahon are for the most part, asshats. They were at their worst when Barrett & Shivers ran the Riders. Also when Miller was HC & they won the GC in 2013. When the team declined they all went into hiding. Now these douchebags are back crawling ou from under their tractors & combines.
  26. No matter how many...or few...years I have left I will fondly remember the last 6+ years of Bomber football. For as grateful as I am for what management was able to accomplish I am equally as disgusted by the Cup game decisions that played a not insignificant role in dropping 3 in a row and the off season/roster decisions that are plaguing them in a year where they're hosting the Cup...especially if they flame out early. One can be appreciative of past accomplishments while still being fed up with recurring tendencies and exceptionally poor choices. It's not easy to reinvent yourself or change your ways especially if that past pattern of behaviour has proven successful but sure as God made little green apples, a man that can't change his mind can't change anything...and Osh doesn't seem capable of changing his mind/ways. That being said...I suspect you're right...especially with continued fan support. I'm also prepared to be completely wrong and gladly watch them take charge the 2nd half of the season and walk away with it all. In which case...statues for everyone!
  27. The CFLs ridiculous insistence on cramming back to back or 3 in short time frame matchups for teams makes these kinds of analysis utterly stupid and a waste of time.
