2026 Bombers Season
I’m not gonna flip a lid on this. Was prepared for a decent does of durp. Womack made the team? how’s that lol. Lidster sent packing, why? is he able to go back to school? i didn’t think so. Cut Andrew’s? yeah pretty dumb. More tcf on the pr than i’d like. Should’ve used the ir more. Idk what more young could’ve done. But we gotta get some dt depth in a hurry.

2026 Bombers Season
Reese i sure will be here all yr in some capacity. He has the best get off at snap than anyone. He also has that uncanny move at snap where he pops off line..then kinda pauses..baiting the tackle to commit then explodes past him..watch for it if you can rewatch tape I think we may see in first 3..4 games some guys in and out of lineup to find best combo Dixon I think is a lock as he can play well inside and out..as can Fletcher who I think they PR as he is a similar player...id like to see us IR one of Jones or Kyrie to start season to allow Arnold Young to get on roster..like to see him and Cersna side by side on some sets If there a surprise cut I could see it being Cam Allen...if he doesn't accept a PR spot..and Vpool..he seemed to have regressed

PS Game #2
100% on Perkins. He's the ideal QB3 here at this moment. But he's got basically zero upside or potential to be a #1 in this league. He's Dan LeFevour or Streveler. He can run, he can make you pay with his arm on some improvised plays if you cheat, and you can maybe survive a couple games with him. He might get 300 yards of offense in a great game but probably only 180 of those will be passing. And if you're savvy as a OC/coaching staff you build a run pack around him.

PS Game #2
Yup...people need to realize too..hes like 6'2" and 225 pounds..he is a big dude

I bet their favorite of Rano/Vanterpool comes down with a mysterious injury and sits on the 6 game lol.

PS Game #2
Yep. Nichols too. Biggest concern isn't his arm, not by a mile. But for a QB3 who will do short yardage and could run some strev pack type stuff, He's a real good fit.

2026 Bombers Season
I think the American kickers are in their last CFL season. Punters will be the most important players on the team starting in 2027.
-
PS Game #2
If faj can kick around with his noodle arm for as long as he has so can Perkins. It's ot great but if you work with in it you can do something

2026 Bombers Season
Sergio made the team after making the 61 yarder. Lidster could stick on the PR. Surprise cuts? Kelly. Corcoran. Vanterpool. Randolph maybe.

2026 Bombers Season
I think we could hide some vets on the IR instead of cutting them out right. Kyrie would be a prime candidate for this imo. I can't see us cutting Castillo. I think youd trade him. I also think they will want to season Lidster on the PR for a year. Sheahan could be a candidate, though I kind of doubt it. Im sure Nupunter will be on the pr. I could see peterson on the PR and MCI as the RB2. Maybe Clinton gets a spot and Ayers doesn't. (for lack of defensive use.) But I doubt that too. I could see Kelly losing his spot though. Lamont I bet is cut. I don't think the cuts will end up being the hard bit. Its going to be rostering the best talent. We have a few guys that are kind of close to each other in terms of development, and potential (Like the young DEs) so we could see some cuts there that surprise just due to the flavour that JY prefers. Specifically, Jenkins didnt get many snaps in game 2, might be hurt. But Reese is really the prototype of what I think JY wants opposite willy. Jenkins and Dixon both showed very well, but considering they were here last year and Reese is a true rookie, he was surprisingly close to them in terms of performance. Fletcher mightve been nicked up too. And Arnold really showed out. I'd be a bit surprised if Arnold isn't on the roster some way. We don't have a better back up imp DT imo. Or back up DT in general. He's a great fit, and would be very well served learning from Cerensa. Hell, with the injuries, Arnold could be playing starters reps in game 1.

Even homeless people have internet... the number of people without internet must be extremely small.

Does anyone think that any vets will be cut? My only guess would be Castillo. I can't imagine any surprise names being let go this year.

2026 CFL Around The League (Not Bombers Specific)
Sask looks to be rolling with 4 QB's on the AR, at least for now. 3DownNationSaskatchewan Roughriders cut running back Mario Anderson...The Saskatchewan Roughriders have released 19 players ahead of the CFL’s mandatory roster cutdown deadline on Saturday, including American running back Mario Anderson Jr. Anderson appeared in nine gam

PS Game #2
Im betting by this time tomorrow we will know lol True. I'm pretty sure he had more throws/snaps than any other QB in the league in pre-season.

2026 CFL Around The League (Not Bombers Specific)
Man, a US game broadcast with a panel of Gruden, Johnson, and Flutie would be awesome.

New TV Contract
My favorite complaint about the new deal was shared by DT on the pre-game show last night. "The CFL wasn't considering fans who dont have the internet with this deal. My 80+ yrd old mother doesnt have the internet and is upset she wont be able to watch all the games." Like...ya that does suck for your mother. But no professional league anywhere is making considerations for people (regardless of age) who dont have the internet, its 2026. I suppose it can be tough to hear that you're no longer the target audience of your favorite TV program.

PS Game #2
I only caught the last 2 quarters, I liked what I was seeing from Elgersma, Perkins definitely has some great tools for escapability and a solid arm. More reps with the starters in practice should help his development, Elgersma is definitely our #2 from what I saw.

New TV Contract
Crave basically started out as the movie channels on cable packages. It was the place movies hit first after ppv. It was the way to get HBO. Which is why it had the premium price tag. Since everything needs to be streaming now bell turned it into its own streaming service.

New TV Contract
With HBO something like that. We get a bundle deal putting crave and TSN together for the season
-
New TV Contract
Thought it was cheaper. My bigger point was a service people already have (see Netflik having NFL games or Prime having basketball or hockey games) is different than a service many don't have.

New TV Contract
And also like $30/month isn’t it?
