I develop software and I found these articles really hit home my issue with AI https://hbr.org/2025/09/ai-generated-workslop-is-destroying-productivity https://locusmag.com/feature/commentary-cory-doctorow-reverse-centaurs/ I am good at my job... so I can effectively use AI to be even better. I can guide it down the path to scaffold out code, if I am stuck as to where to go I can ask it questions about best practices, if I need an example it can give me something that is close enough to where I need to go. When people are lazy or don't know what they are doing, they go into ChatGPT or Cursor or Replit or whatever and are like give me a thing. And then I am provided that thing, or the concept of the thing and am told to make it a reality, but the reality is it is so far away from being production code it would be easier just to write it from scratch! And then it would have documentation, and there would be a process... and someone would know exactly what it does

For some reason some moron left Brady off the MOC watch article on CFL.ca https://www.cfl.ca/2025/10/01/most-outstanding-canadian-watch-whos-the-front-runner/ He is only 13 yards back from leading the league in Yards from Scrimmage on a team that is middle of the road in net offense despite missing 2 full games and all but a single drive of another NBD. -

Agreed. If the GM gets them what they need, either one of them can be very successful. Their track record as coordinators shows that clearly. - Yesterday

big difference between tackles....and plays....seems to me a lot here would say player X on a different team wasnt as good as the stats seemed to indicate even tho high in league if not leading in tackles...and they are not necessarily wrong....but if it is a case where it's to defend Osh it justified I dont care about T.Jones tackles....I am tho of his poor drops in zone going up free catches constantly...his over pursuit and missing tackles in space as he plays at times out of control I also look to meeting guys in the hole...stopping plays for no yards or loss...plays he scrapes an takes down a player for minimal gain...not where it's giving them a 2nd and short He doesn't make the impact plays...the game altering ones.....doesnt meet the ball carrier first or dictate anything really ....he's good at having play come to him, not the other way around.....he's not a complete impactful LB by any stretch and has more holes in his game than positive attributes....Does J.Jones have moe...based on skill set alone and his work in T,O yeah....did he show it here...no.....didnt get the chance...but that being said he showed more in pre-season than T.Jones did, but like him..Thomas..Kolo...Kramdi (tho he actually got bumped from sam) their spots were cemented pre-camp regardless what anyone else did People yap about the game J,Jones played and had no defensive tackles....yet was the best defensive game we put forth all yr...coincided with moving Kramdi and Person actually getting a lot of reps Like a good DB maybe teams were staying away from him...nobody seems to look at that...also if you watch the tape he was perfect on his drops and where to be in space so there was no free pass in his area....subsequently T.Jones was able to play better in his drops as he saw the depth he should be J.Jones was removed.....Person went back to 6...7 reps again and until last game the defence never looked as good as that game Some times its not all about "stats" and what you think you are seeing This team is saddled with players playing as a personal choice of Osh and it's not necessarily due to true actual on field talent that translates into a game....works to an extent when you are loaded across the board with talent (2019-2022) but we aint now Flame away flamers....I expect nothing less from the licker of the boots -

I was excited about Tony Jones when he came on the scene for an injured Bighill last year... "excited" as in, this guys will be a great place holder until we find a permanent fit... I never imagined the team would view him as the permanent fit... I thought Jon Jones had a chance to be that guy.... I want a MLB that's a game changer... not just an above average place holder... It continues to concern me that we hold on to 30-something linebackers while ignoring and releasing younger players... The silver lining for me is if the plan is to start seeing more defensive reps from Shay and Smith and get more Americans on the D-line... I'm all for it... -
Trailblazer. RIP.

To be fair, when healthy kaprizov is a superstar but he hasn’t been healthy in a long time. But Minnesota also has other guys signed to long term kinda “cheap “ contracts. No guarantee the cap goes up. WNBA is more popular than hockey in the USA and more affordable. 17 million gonna be mostly paid in ticket price hikes where they are gonna completely make it so only the very rich can play and go to games. This is the start of the end of Canadian teams who are the only ones who consistently sell out.
