My favorite complaint about the new deal was shared by DT on the pre-game show last night. "The CFL wasn't considering fans who dont have the internet with this deal. My 80+ yrd old mother doesnt have the internet and is upset she wont be able to watch all the games." Like...ya that does suck for your mother. But no professional league anywhere is making considerations for people (regardless of age) who dont have the internet, its 2026. I suppose it can be tough to hear that you're no longer the target audience of your favorite TV program.

I only caught the last 2 quarters, I liked what I was seeing from Elgersma, Perkins definitely has some great tools for escapability and a solid arm. More reps with the starters in practice should help his development, Elgersma is definitely our #2 from what I saw.

Crave basically started out as the movie channels on cable packages. It was the place movies hit first after ppv. It was the way to get HBO. Which is why it had the premium price tag. Since everything needs to be streaming now bell turned it into its own streaming service.

With HBO something like that. We get a bundle deal putting crave and TSN together for the season

Thought it was cheaper. My bigger point was a service people already have (see Netflik having NFL games or Prime having basketball or hockey games) is different than a service many don't have.

People have their opinion on Gruden but man does he ever love the game of football. Every time he talks about football his energy is contagious. It’s really cool to see him give the CFL its flowers. Chad Johnson had some really good things to say about the CFL as well.

Why would he leave the team? Don’t you think it’s important to get your 24 year old QB the majority of game reps. Perkins is 29 and can probably pick up the offense better. No doubt they see him as more of the short yardage guy. Get the kid some important reps and try to build his confidence. I don’t think this forshadows anything. I really don’t see Perkins be anything more then a short yardage and change of pace guy. He simply does not have the arm to make the wide wide field throws that are so important in the CFL.

Crave is Bell though too.

Will Perkins leave the team next? Kinda foreshadowing how much playtime he'd receive in the regular season. No can do. How can T.E throw the ball all game if he's handing off?

How many other leagues only have 4 games a week max?

It’s pretty typical of any sports league to have to pay for more than one service to get every games. Thats how you maximize money. Essentially the cost of acquiring all games went up for consumers and some of that increase is being passed to the league. Services will pay for right if it will drive subs.

The question, as always, is when will they be made public...

Last year it was 10pm local time so I'm guessing it's similar this year.

On OB they it was mentioned that he told them he didn't want to run too much because he was told that wouldn't get him on the team. So he tried to run to throw. It did seem like he ended up running for his life and going back to more run threat.

My take is that singer is the guy to go with as a rookie receiver. He's more versatile and more dangerous of the two guys who got a decent amount of targets. Whoever #15 was absolutely useless and makes me wonder how he even got an invite... Jenkins on the DL is a starter. No doubt in my mind. He was consistently good in both preseason games. Few other guys looked good but there were also periods where the dl didn't get any push and I couldn't tell who was out there when that was happening. Dbs hard to really say, major Wilson seems like he might be solid. Stuart is going to be good but I think he’s a development guy this year. Kelly hasn't seemed to progress and honestly he should be a potential cut given some of the new blood.

That one play where he was already in 2nd gear running with easily 5+ yards of free space and then him stopping and awkwardly throwing to his right completely off balance made me think he was told no running at all. I was also wondering for the interception if he was trying too hard to make a play knowing that he had limited time. The arm isn't the greatest but it wasn't Russ Michna level of noodle-ness.

So final cuts coming today? Or?

Crave would have been a better option. At least more people have it.
