hes only 28 and his injury issues were his thumb which he broke twice

I would say a big YES to JC Sherritt...move Leggett to SAM and have Sherman and Waggoner battle for the Safety position.

Hamilton has quite a few free agents left... Lots of variables.

Ottawa having hard time re-signing Shologan, Johnson, Cappicotti...

Cappicotti-Shologan-Turner-Westerman would look great.  Do you go all-in with Laurent as well?  $600-700k on the DL and then sign cheap import OL?

If that was the case you keep Turner still because he can play at any of spot on the DL and draft a young DL this year.

everyone here want Shologan at a more manageable cap salary or Laurant who is better but will command a hell of a lot of cash?

I'd take whoever wants to come then make it work within the budget after.  tbh after sucking and missing the playoffs as we have im pretty much at the point where I could care less if we go over the cap. Just bring in players that are ballers and win. Tired of being loveable losers

Well, Shologan is definitely better than Thomas. He's an elite NI DT in this league, but he's IMO still not as good as Ted Laurent.

 

If we're talking Brian Bulcke, I can see where your coming from though. Thomas IMO is just as good as Bulcke.
