Up first:  Pittsburgh Penguins, my secondary team to cheer for.

 

I guess their worst start since Sid's rookie year could be because of their lousy defense.  Or bad coaching.  Or Kessel.

 

But in reality its because I took Fleury in my pool every year for 10 years until last year when I was fed up, he has his best year ever and then I took him this year and now he sucks. 

 

But really, whats the deal?  They might be the first to can their coach.

Boedker to Colorado.   Details to come. 

Leafs tank been on for a while now. 12 AHL guys on that team I believe.

That's a pretty small return for that guy.  Must be something going on that we don't know.  I would have thought Chevy could have coughed up a 5th rounder if the only other offer was a sixth.

What a ridiculous trade.  If Florida waits for him to get an offer sheet, they at least get a third round pick if he's even offered $1.2 mill.

Pirri has AHL written all over him as for the Oilers if they get the first pick over all i draft Mathews then call Arizona and ask for OEL and their first.

Stempy just 2g behind Wheeler on a team that's scored 20 less then the Jets.

Must surpass Wheels for total victory

Well, BOS traded their 3rd/5th pick so Stempy is 2nd or 4th or 6th rounder.

Chevy sure looks like he won the trade deadline...  Hudler deal is close but Ladd deal seems to be the best so far

Stempniak trade - let's see what NJ gets... Jets could easily have offered Stemp a PTO and a bargain basement deal

Getting a 2nd rounder for Roman Polak might be the best return for anybody. Flames got pretty close to the same return for Russell as they did for Iginla.

We don't have the elite pp talent around Wheeler that Stempniak has in NJ to pad his stats.

Say what you want about Stemp, he is their leading points-getter and on pace for a 53 point season.

I don't know why someone would compare him to Wheeler though...

Stempniak makes no difference to this team. We are tied for 3rd last. Stemp doesn't change that.

Stempniak is not worth a 2nd Rd pick cuz on a decent team he's a 4th liner. 4th liners don't get 2nd Rd picks 

BOS sends 2016 4th rounder and 2017 2nd rounder to NJ for Stempniak.
