July 11, 201510 yr Yep, Randle was solid tonight and the D-line finally got some pressure. Watching Westerman, he looks very good. Washington is clearly a weak link in the secondary. Might need to limit Zach Anderson's reps too.

July 11, 201510 yr Randle had a heck of a game at SAM. Johnny Adams just makes plays. Bruce Johnson made a great play to tackle Cato short in the 4th, making it a fg not a potential TD.

That play by Johnson was a highlight. He raced across the field (25 yards?) away and made a huge play to stop Cato.
July 11, 201510 yr Randle was better at SAM today. Still best at corner. Top tier corner > decent linebacker (or really, dime back), in my opinion.
July 11, 201510 yr Randle was awesome. I've been complaining about moving him to SAM but he was sure awesome tonight . I've always been a big supporter of Washington, but his reckless play is beginning to outweigh his usefulness.

July 11, 201510 yr Can someone explain how hurl and Bass looked bad? I didn't see Sutton run rampant over us.. Had 74 yards..bass with 4 tackles and hurl with 2.. I will say those are low tackle totals.. Not being a fanboy I generally wanna know what I'm missing

July 11, 201510 yr Bass was good. Hurl still can't blitz and he is slow. He didn't do much stopping the run. 2 tackles for a Middle LB is not much.

July 11, 201510 yr The only thing that bothers me is Ellsworth - new guy, had 11 tackles while Hurl had 2. Now, saying that, we have to take into account the different style of defences each plays, and how long those players on each team have played under those defences and of course, the veteran presence. A win, while our defence is still progressing, can do wonders for us.
