Love their humor.  my daughter grew up watching Shaun the Sheep, and we still watch new episodes when they come out.

Ledger was a method actor, meaning he stayed in character during the entire movie filming. He lived as the Joker, mentally, not physically, of course. It caused him a lot of anguish.

Wasn't Ledger a serious drug addict... that might play a role in not sleeping.

Huh, that's your take away from that- ok, interesting.

My understanding of what happened to Ledger was that he was really messed up from this movie and was having trouble with his sleep. They got him on some meds to help with that and he started taking more and more of them and eventually too much.
