Way to go Taj. How ******* hard is it to follow simple rules?

This guy must be a real piece of …….

He's already thought to be an idiot, now he's going out of his way to prove it?

Talent…but do they really need that crap?

Time to mahaul his ass out of town.

The way he plays reminds me of the way Kito Poblah plays sans confidence.

Holy Judgie McJudgeniks... lots of posters must have the inside scoop on this story

can't image living that life, but its no excuse for continuing the life style as you grow older.

You have to make a choice..

Here is an article about Taj from the NY Times.  Pretty F'd up life.  8 kids and no mention of a pop.

good article, thanks.

Try to even imagine living his life. You can't.

It is true that he's had a hard life.  No doubt about that, but the only one who can turn it around is himself.  According to the article, several people have tried to help him, but he keeps making bad choices.  Getting into fights, drunk driving, trouble with the law, idolizing the wrong people.   He's made plenty of wrong choices, including using a rare NFL pay cheque to buy 70 pairs of sneakers.  I know several kids who are from low income broken homes that make better choices, and who have been able to move forward dispite disadvantages.  He has to take responsibility for his actions....he isn't a child anymore.

He's been given opportunities to change his life thru football. Others who didn't have the same opportunities overcame. No excuses.

Taj

Smith

Noflyzone

Taman says that although Smith is a "good kid" there is the possibility he could be released. He also says the event that precipitated the suspension happened in Ottawa.

Should never have went to that party at Mike Duffy's house....

La Paz Smith....A homely girl, but good hands.

Wouldn't be surprised if he has an appearance on Thursday, and thus can't play because the game is in Winnipeg. Because we all know the Riders don't actually apply their Code of Conduct... unless it is to scrubs.

I think Jovon Johnson has a similar background with 3 or 4 family members being killed so far, difference is Jovon had the brains to use athletics to get out and stay out of trouble.

The Riders do a great job in following the Code of Conduct? That's a joke. Too funny. I didn't know Taman did stand up.

This made me laugh

Pretty hard to blame this on the riders, really, what do they have to do?  babysit the guy all the time? Sounds like it but... My guess is this guy is let go pretty soon, taman even said he's down to his last strike. Next time he's gone.

Yep, the NEXT TIME he does something wrong like defy a court order, he 's gone. That's actually the second rule of the Riders Code of Conduct. It reads:  "Next time. There's always next time".  The first rule is, "When you think you have a good team, ignore the Code of Conduct."

Didn't know a 30 year old is still a kid.
