Its going to be hard that is for sure. Unless we shift kramdi and start woodbey. Or move on from ayers.

Dead on with the DIs.

we did it before....several times...and heres an example

Swap out Ayers for Ceresna....swap out Persons for another legit DT...Totally doable...Bailey also comes in for any one of the bottom end Canadians...and if we sign say a Gittems and go 3 Canadian recievers...even more options...

Jury is out on our C until he proves himself, but our OGs need not worry much about OTs.

I highly doubt Randolph displaces Stan/Broxton at OT. He probably plays inside over Vanderpool.

I don't see one of Vanterpool, or Randolph starting. Stan is the GOAT and Stan will start, It's quite possible neither of the aforementioned start. Stan doesn't need a resurgence, He is no longer the best OT in the league, but he is still really good.

totally agree that Stan is a legend and he'll likely play... but he's a downgrade from Broxton at LT... switching to RT, I'd be hard pressed to think he'd be better than Randolph... and he's never played inside, so likely a downgrade from Vanderpool...

I still think he'll play... I'm just interested to see how it shakes out... for the record (I haven't purchased it yet) Bryant #66 is going to be my next jersey, if you're questioning how I feel about the GOAT... 😁

Stan will win a OT job. Book it. Randolph is our future at one of the OT positions, but it won't be this year. The difference between him and Stan would be negligible and in that scenario you let the GOAT play. Randolph will be heavily involved this year, but it will likely be as a backup and heavy set guy. We can ripen him on the vine, and we should do so.  As long as it is communicated properly to Randolph that '26 he will be the incumbent at RT, there should be no issues with him being disgruntled.

Will we starve the offense again by not giving it 1 DI?

Probably. Hate to say it but they are more valuable to us on D given our current usage.

JJ Taylor is quite an intriguing signing. Bonafide NFL pedigree. Could he become our Kory Sheets if BO were to go down. Possibly.

Kory Sheets? In what way?

In that he came from the NFL later in his career, and was kind of a surprise to make the roster and then dominated when given the opportunity. Just a loose analogy. Obviously, we have BO and will ride or die with him no matter what. Just saying JJ maybe sticks around and if BO goes down we could get high level RB play from him.

Returning punts and kicks will help his chances of sticking around.

He would be a good fill in for Vaval.....don't know about a fill for Brady, as we'd probably go with Peterson....Coaches still high on the guy

We would go Peterson if all things are equal. I am hoping JJ jumps off the page and makes us look at ratio elsewhere if BO went down.

And we could prob do so with ratio if we "had" to

Pretty sure any coach with half a brain if he could do it ratio wise would use a high skill NFL rb...in his prime yrs over a young Canadian kid who still has growing to do

We already saw it last year. When BO went down we went with Peterson initially but the change was made to IMP RB shortly after.

I recall Cooley the imp rb was on the roster but eventually fumbled his way off the team.

Yes, he failed to seize the opportunity. Probably why we brought in JJ.

Yeah he kinda sucked his way off too

JJ brings experience...and also returned kicks in college and averaged i believe a shade over 24 yards a kick...so is already miles ahead

If Vaval grabs an actual roster spot...or we allow our Canadian LB's to assume a bigger role...he could technically be a quite solid DA for us...backup returner..change of pace back..plus he can catch

Taylor looks like a 'speedster' type while Cooley was more of 'bulling' type runner....Like the looks of JJ and probably has the talent to stick....We couldn't seem to find a way to keep Cooley although he did 'do himself in' when the fumbles started, and I don't believe anyone else in the league seen enough to bring him in, in any event

JJ can cut on a dime too. Really nice lateral movement. He's my sleeper pick to make the team. Sorry for cursing you JJ..lol

You dont stick around the NFL at 5 foot 5 as a running back unless you got talent. Hopefully he comes motivated.

He can run under the legs of the guys in the trenches. Hit the F gap JJ..lmao

Once deals are official on Sunday, I am curious to see who we pursue on the secondary market.

next time I need a sock puppet account to hype myself on MBB, it's gonna be called "The F Gap."

Some good players still out there. Shane Ray would look a hundred times better in Blue and Gold.
