I'm all for a vet who can play and is still athletically gifted...a couple guys here are not

Actually this morning was working out the steel with the devil with Gavin Walls...that dude could probably still play and looks better than when he retired...we did some dline talk...and he even mentioned he wasnt sure what they were intending with out ends but they definitely were not being turned loose and he would have hated being in that role...and I sure our ends this yr felt the same...hopefully next yr things change

he got less grooming than Brown got here tho....and did significantly less than Brown did...Yet MTL had the foresight to look forward and project their squad so to speak and would be the best option for them...We didnt...there were many signs ZC was in serious decline and we just kept referencing 2019-2021 and some reg season success....but poor playoff performances

Well Ol Cal let Danny Mac go under similar conditions...hindsight is always best sight..

Need to find where you work out make a special trip to the Peg put on my best workout duds (think 80's) and ask you 'u lift bruh' while doing my classic strong man poses.

Cal signed matt Dunigan to take his place in 1992. Danny Mac ended up in Edmonton.

Yup but Bc signed him first..he was  backup in Wpg and Cal wouldn't pay him...so off he went. He played a couple of games in Winnipeg but we really didn't know how good he would be...playing behind Tommy Clements.

Danny Mac played behind Tom Clements? Danny Mac never did. The backups in 87 (Clements last year playing) were Tom Muecke & some kid named Pete Riley who never saw the field. John Hufnagel was released & signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders. .

Danny Mac played behind Tom Burgess...Seen action in the 78th Cup game when we trounced the Esks 50-7...I'm pretty sure Danny chucked one at the end of the game for 6 and the next year moved on...Currently he does a competent job for the BigBlue

Sorry, behind Matt Dunigan...your right. The point i was making is Cal wouldn't pick Danny Mac over Dunigan at the time..😊

Would like to see Pavia up here.  Watched him on the Netflix series about the SEC and he just had a career game where he threw for 484 yards & 5 td's against Kentucky yesterday (most passing yards in a SEC game in almost 30 years).  He's definitely getting some attention right now but at 5'10, how much of a real look does he get in the NFL?
