I remember Demski specifically taking a play off and jogging a 10 yrd out. Collaros is on the ground and every rec is 20+ yards down field Hot routes aren't designed to be thrown over the middle. Although they can be. They are all quick passes designed to exploit a defense who blitzes & vacates a space. The receiver would catch a pass when the defender blitzes & leaves said space. The blitz the riders were sending often left the middle of the field wide open. A rec never filled it.

Which is where the dearly departed Wolitarski thrived.

This fascination with drew and Kenny like they make a difference when there’s dudes in and on the qb almost as soon as the ball arrives at times is wild.

I do know the receivers & qbs have to be on the same page when it comes to recognizing coverages & what routes will be run so the ball can be placed where it's supposed to be. It could also be communication or the type of offense Hogan runs. Edited 1 hour ago by SpeedFlex27
