Makonzo on for Kramdi...and play so you cant take him off...I can see it happening

I'm not sure what Kramdi's injury status was from last week. I expected him to be on the AR this week. That said, I thought there was a good chance that Makonzo would also be added. Earlier we added Cobb from the PR and I'm not sure why they did that. Possibly that was in case Demski couldn't play this week.

We added Weitz last week in lieu of a Canadian and I predicted that Cobb would potentially be added to replace the 2nd global player. Now I think Makonzo might be that player and Cobb gets bumped back to PR. This is contingent on Demski not being moved to 1 game IR, otherwise we might need Canadian receiver depth.  If Kramdi is out, then Cobb might be the only other Canadian choice if we have to add 2 Canadians!!

I expect Houston to play this week with the expectation that Lawson is moved probably to PR but possibly to 1 game IR. My thought is that PR is more likely.

I'm feeling good that we will see the return of Schoen this week to replace Sterns who was moved to the 1 game IR.

I picked Riders mostly based on our injury situation. Having said that, I can absolutely see a world where Brady and the OL go off again. And Collaros always carries a giant bag of **** You's to hand out when he plays the Gappers...

I picked the Riders just because it's the LDC.  Even though we've turned things around lately at The Pas West (did Princess Auto acquire the naming rights out there too or is it still IGF West?), I still expect a loss and hope to be surprised with a win.

Just crazy to think... If we sweep these two games we'll be 8-4 , tied with the gappers and we'll have the tie breaker.

I'm cautiously optimistic

Oddly enough we’ve taken 3/4 against the Riders, and we’re 4-4 since 2016 in the Labour Day classic after going over a decade without winning one. It feels more winnable then it used to in the mid 2000’s atleast. I’m never very worried about the banjobowl because we’ve almost always steam rolled the riders during those games.

Is Kramdi out, if so whos replacing him?

Griffin could but I'd guess Makonzo comes off the 6 game IR after missing 10 games this season. He could be listed as the starter but fall into more of a rotational SAM initially.

Anybody else worried that Schoen is going to come back but he's been rushed and isn't quite right physically which is just going to cause more issues?

This will always be the case, but I'm more worried about them doing it to Demski this week...

Guy who already did...Griffin....on roster tho possibly Makonzo

We don't need SAM as a Canadian spot to meet ratio...never have really

No we don't need a Canadian @ SAM but Makonzo when healthy could be a very good addition. It also allows Griffin to play multiple rotational roles that he is currently doing very well.  If it's up to me I'm sending Weitz back to the PR in order to add a Canadian to the AR. However we added Cobb already but that may have been a paper shuffle to keep PR roster within limits. I won't be surprised either way. If either of Kramdi or Demski don't play then there is room for those 2 changes on the AR regarding Canadians added.

I believe Cobb was added just on the premise that Demski was a possible GTD but I expect him to play.

Oh I agree...Makonzo is legit..and a better SAM than Kramdi

Griffin tho is our best and is doing great there

Weitz i agree is a pointless add...offers nothing but ST play and isnt exceptional at that either
