Just get me my TD KLaw so that I live another week.

TSN is playing up the fact Lawler is on track right now to take out Milt's single season TD record set in 2002.

Yeah and Rourke was on pace to break records a couple summers ago. Long season, paces like that seldom hold up, especially when the weather turns to ****.

The TSN graphic said that Milt got 23 TD's in 2002.  That was the height of the Khari-Milt days wasn't it?

It was yep, and the  a decline from Khari after that

It was quite famously the 2002 season and Milt won the MOP in large part because of it. Khari won it in 2001. They were both incredible in those seasons and at least part of 2003...

You might be right. 2008 was Glenn QB, 2009 was the coaching disaster with Leflor as QB. I was at the game he scored his record breaking TD but its foggy now. Khari does make sense.

I'm not sure how, but the poster is confusing Milts 23 TD season of 2002 with Milts 2007 record of career TDs...

yeah I'm talking about the record for a single season, not a career.

Milt has 23 tds and Khari threw 46 td passes in 2002. There was the potential for more too considering we had our fair share of TDs called back for various penalties too. 2000-2002, Khari to Milt was a blast to watch. Lapo neutered that offense in 2003. (In 2002, they more or less kept the Worman offense from the year before).

Also the year my username came about so yeah single season tds was definitely 2002.

He broke the all time touchdown record later in his career.

Everyone started descending down the hill.  OL was really old, Khari was beaten up.  They also lost Arland Bruce to the NFL.  The 3rd American receiver was LaDaris Vann.  Stoddard was basically the #3 downfield target.  Stegall was 33, Gordon was 35.

Man we are so lucky we swept the series with BC early. I dont think we beat them twice if we play them now

I don't think we beat the Bisons twice if we play them now.

This is a great game - it's games like this that I enjoy and the product is so much better than watching some crappy NFL game. Just wish all CFL games were this good.  Like for instance the game last night, which was bad.

Ti Cats coming back to win is a great result for the Bombers but a terrible result for the Lions who will see even less fans in the building where they have hung the curtains again for their next home game.

Bo Levi playing like he's 10 years younger.  I thought that he was done but he's having a Damon Allen kind of resurgence this year.  Having a receiver like Lawler really helps.

This year?

Wasn't he the East nominee for MOP last year?

#3 and #4 in receptions were roberts and sellers if I remember right.
