Nichols was hurt and streveler took over from him for the better part of the back half of the season, but he also got the ankle injury. Collaros started 1 game in the regular season in 2019 and then in the playoffs split time with Streveler and both leaned on Andrew Harris anyway. The difference in 2019 were things like moving Alexander to safety, bringing in Taylor at halfback and Maston at SAM and there was another DB came in who I can't remember his name right now... those were the key moves in making 2019 a championship team. solidified the weakness of the defence and turned them into monsters. Strev was hurt as well tho...and struggling due to it We won in 2019 but wasn't on shoulders of Collaros carrying us...but he was efficient and not skittish like now...or throwing as many picks as he does td's... 17to85 Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago that 2019 playoff defence was ******* dominant and Andrew Harris was mr. everything for the offense. because the early part of the season the secondary was leaky people don't always appreciate just how bloody good the D was in the post season. rebusrankin and Bigblue204 2

If we’d stayed with Jeff Hecht at safety the rest of the changes don’t cascade the same way and this team doesn’t make it out of Calgary in the 2019 West semi Bigblue204, Booch and 17to85 1 2

That's what has me stumped...we still have the same HC. And Younger was solid at DC last year. Noeller and rebusrankin 2

On offence, sorry but Zach has been bad, IMO time to give Strev. the reigns for a week or so with true 1st team reps and playcalling.....damn it if Brady is healthy USE him.........The O-line needs to figure out pass blocking,....the receivers are not getting it done Stearns tries and has been fine but is not a 1,2 receiver, Clercius is good for what he is, Demski is what he always is, Wheetfall has looked mostly good....but none are a true #1 barely a #2.... is Mitchel that guy...maybe but we will never know with him sitting in the doghouse all year....Corcoran looks better than I expected...honestly he has outplayed many of the Imports we have trotted out...I think Dalton will be a next year discussion, this is the biggest spot I believe we either need to see if Mitchel can fill, or we need to bring someone in..... Specials other than return, but I thought Case had improved from last year.....have looked really good...... What we are doing is not working...let's not go drastic and look at firing coaches and GM's....but something needs to change....or those conversations will gain traction.....the season is salvageable...but for love of all things holy don't run out the exact same roster and game plans next week......... O'Shea has repeatedly and obviously proven himself to be rigid in opposing productive change. He and possibly Walters as an enabler are the obstacles to a rapid turnaround. My read of O'Shea's personality is that he will not accede to change and if ordered to make the needed changes, he will resist and/or quit. If Walters refuses to give him an ultimatum, we may have a two-for-one transaction as I don't think Wade Miller will put up with that.

Streveler wasn't injured until his last start in Calgary, 2nd last game of the season. Which is how Collaros got on the field starting the final regular season game here vs Calgary. Collaros hadn't even dressed the game in Calgary when Streveler was injured. They put in Sean McGuire and then Streveler came back in with the high ankle sprain/tibial fracture. Goalie Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Yes. Strev was here before Zach. Crazy world. The injury Strev had tho is a big concern currently. It’s still effecting him.
