Edmonton exposed our coverages by running switch routes where guys cross and go vertical to other side of field they started from. Our HB's and Safety made really bad reads on what route they needed to prioritize on some of those plays and Edmonton hit/almost hit several big plays off those. Nichols kind of got lost on the TD and jumped eligible OL...but really who cares about that guy at midfield, not a threat, while Bridges stayed with his guy across the field and the other wideout got passed off twice, third time (when he turned vertical) to no one because Nichols was out in the flat on a OL. Then he was running by himself to the endzone with the ball. You know it's a bad bust when a guy is running completely free on a play from the minus side of midfield because our coverages hugely prioritize sitting on vertical routes basically until they cross the 30. But the games are so long, have 4-5 negative plays are going to happen. You want to be able to get those back with turnovers and sacks. Seeing that big bust live from up top in the stadium was something else. I don't think a receiver could ever be more open than that. He was 30 yards away from any DB. rebusrankin 1

Cause collaros made some big throws against a porous Edmonton pass defense we're forgetting all the red flags we've seen for 2 years now. Guy had a very good game, no one is saying otherwise. Still got to keep doing that to justify his contract at this point.

I agree on Jake and Kolo. Disagree on TJ and Kramdi. Also, at no point did Osh say he thought JJ was better than TJ. He said the armchair HCs think that.
ShyGuy Posted 46 minutes ago Report Posted 46 minutes ago With Mitchell stuck on the 1 Game IR behind Sterns I wonder if the Elks get desperate at some point and try to get him back as someone with some more familiarity with Ford.

Give us Ceresna for him and they got themselves a deal!

Noeller Posted 22 minutes ago Report Posted 22 minutes ago I just wanted to pop in and say Collaros isn't "back"... He never went anywhere. He has ALWAYS been able to do what he did last night. The issue is that he's been doing it less and less frequently with each passing year. Starting in 2023 these types of games have been getting progressively less and less frequent. rebusrankin 1
