They are the most penalized team in the league once again. 7, They are reliant on a bunch of old guys who have been pretty healthy so far. Harris, Micah, Rose, Hardrick, etc. McEwen and some WRs have been banged up. But in a league where every QB is hurt, and you have an old guy in Harris who's been healthy, it is just a matter of time until an injury hits that hurts their roster. 8, Ssk, is squeezing out a lot of close wins over banged-up teams. Finally, coaching. I think Mace is along for the ride on that roster. He's a good defensive coach, but he isn't the leader capable of getting that team to play disciplined, smart ball. They have a well-rounded offence, with a very good OL. It has the highest yards per play and the most big plays. They also have the best pressure front in the league. They are a good team. But they are a team that is peaking in the first 1/3 of the season. It is extremely rare, especially in the West, for that to pan out long-term. Montreal and Toronto are going to get a lot better when they get QBs back. Hamilton is already better. The riders probably have the best chance in the West of being a good team for an extended period of time. If Harris keeps playing. But I think they are a coaching change away from being a real GC contender. Pssst, they be 7-1......end of story. wbbfan, Mark H. and Super Duper Negatron 2 1
Brandon Posted Sunday at 11:00 PM Report Posted Sunday at 11:00 PM Riders are doing great for now, Harris tends to get hurt once the weather gets a bit cooler and his production then tanks. We will see how things go. Piggy 1 1

Atomic Posted Monday at 11:29 AM Report Posted Monday at 11:29 AM Sask has been notorious for the late season collapse the last few seasons. 2022 - 4-1 start, finished 6-12 2023 - 6-5 start, finished 6-12 2024 - 5-1 start, finished 9-8-1 But 7-1 is their best start since they won the Grey Cup in 2013. It really all depends on whether Trevor Harris stays healthy. Noeller and wbbfan 2

However let's see what things look like say end of September after our back to back with the Riders. IMHO I do not believe the Bombers will be much better then they are today so time will tell.

At this point, unless some thing drastic happens I expect ssk to hand us our asses. Unfortunately, we are no longer the standard bearers for success either in the league or west. rebusrankin Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM Report Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM 3D had an article about how the Riders have sold out Labour Day and that its their first sell out of the year. Meanwhile we are at all 4 sold out this year with 9 in a row. I'm just saying us fans have brought it this year. Flowers to all of us. Bigblue204, Tracker, Noeller and 2 others 5

Are there seriously only singles left for the 14th or is my Ticketmaster broken?

He is a good QB WHEN HEALTHY....and there is the rub. The guy is 40 years old and the chances of him finishing this season have got to be pretty low. He has been a faberge egg over the past several years and that was always going to be the Riders achilles heel this season. I really honestly believe that Harris will not last the season, and I'm not cheering for a QB injury to anyone, but that is the likely reality. Are they kind of smoke and mirrors? Yea....they aren't as impressive as their record but their record is all that matters in the end. I just don't believe for one second that they can keep it up down the stretch. Like you, I would be shocked if they were the hot hand by seasons end. On 2025-08-05 at 11:49 AM, wbbfan said: At this point, unless some thing drastic happens I expect ssk to hand us our asses. Couple more lil tweeks and I can see us managing them quite well....and even our at times piss poor coaching may not kill us as I still think Mace is even more clueless...and that team is still super undisciplined We got a few games yet to get our house in order...so we shall see but based on record right now...they are best....over the course of yr tho and how it all shales out...I have my doubts.....specifically for 3 reasons...Harris factor....guys never won...Mace....and their undisciplined play and believing their own hype I do hope tho they claim 1st and we kill their hopes and dreams again at PA west....again haha Bigblue204 1
