We better be active trying to do just that instead of sleep walking thru this off eason as we seem to be doing. 

 I think we got one more move either in free agency in the bargain bin or a trade maybe around draft time. 
 I think we likely target db or maybe ol. 
 
It’s already been a very active off season for the cfl and surprising. Expect any thing tbh. 

IF anything, I would like Walters to reacquire Dobson. I would think Lawler has no room here with White JR, Mitchel Schoen and Wilson (if he comes back at some point)

I'd like to see Walters sign McEwen to upgrade our center spot.

Tbh I’m not worried about guard and I wouldn’t pay Dobson top dollar. Wallace will be as good this year imo.

This, C even more than RT is our issue.

How would that look on the player if they did that? Or is it fair game cuz of the fiasco with increasing the cap?

I agree. When others on the line are sounder with their assignments, the RT and even Big Stan at LT, will suddenly look much better.

To be fair, every year since like 19 more than one guy has gone back on a deal at the last minute when every one thought it was done. Usually seems to be dbs for some reason.

I.bet even better...definitely will be in.second level where Dobson had no clue after his initial assignment

They've already signed more FA players than the last 3 off seasons combined

Players are looking for and should get the most money out of their short careers. Every team going right now would drop them (except our boy Jake) without hesitation to get better at their spot, and that's with a signed contract.

I don't understand the people complaining that we have done nothing this off-season... you don't replace a guy like Lawler... but we've added some nice pieces at receiver and hopefully one or two hit... we're better at LB now than last year... DBs should still be strong... losing the passport at corner sucks but Ford's production is replaceable... Wallace may be as good or better than Dobson... I think I like to see some depth at DL and OL added... ideally a starter but not sure how many great options are out there

Other than Mitchell who has huge upside...the other pieces really are huge question marks in a way...Is White what he was?...didnt look like it last yr....hopefully anoyher seson between injury will get him back...Sterns....couldm't crack Sask roster...that aint sayng much for him...questionable hands and guys of his skill set....easy to find.....I'd have preferred we looked at the lines a bit...and spent money there....maybe we will still but majority of anything that would have upgraded what we currently have/had has agreed elsewhere

I have high hopes for Person..Adams and Woods tho....now hopefully thy get lions share of reps

Yeah this is basically what I'm saying, in regards to the receivers... If Mitchell and White pan out... we will not miss Lawler

yup....and if Schoen is back to Schoen....they can be even just productive and above average and not having to be a true number 1....lotta if's....but we shall see eh?

 

Walters does have a pretty good track record of picking up players from other teams.

Given that RBs are one of his areas of expertise, I’m interested in seeing  how the new OC formulates his backfield with BO, Logan, and Streveler.

tongue in cheek about a this signing that's all. Maybe the kid has had a change of mind?

I'd say the issue with WR is that while Schoen is excellent and Mitchell has high upside, Sterns and White are JAGS.
