Week 11 - Blue Bombers (7-2) @ stumps(3-6) - GDT

CFL-2022-July-15-Winnipeg-Blue-Bombers-v

And the skinny from our man Tait:

Scene setter:

The Blue Bombers (7-2) and Stampeders (3-6) reached the midway point of the season last week moving in opposite directions. Winnipeg is on a three-game heater since the shocking collapse in Ottawa, including last week’s 38-29 win in Edmonton in which Dru Brown came off the bench to throw for 300 yards and four TDs – erasing a 22-0 deficit in the process. The Stamps, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four, including last week’s 37-9 mauling by the B.C. Lions.

The big news heading into this one is Brown getting the start for Zach Collaros, who did not practice all week.

hey guys - we got out of West Kelowna last night after spending the day packing up our vehicles with stuff and as of right now have no idea if our house is still standing.  Meanwhile now half of Kelow

  • That's unnecessary roughness, but a guy jumping on the QB's head is no penalty.

Carey is soo good. Good job by run d.

Whistle was late af. That should’ve been 2 plus short.

Man not by much.

That’s not a first down bud lol

Poor tackle form by rose though.

Hilarious how patient our rush is against the first QB in awhile we've played that's just about zero run threat, when they go empty backfield.

Dickenson yelling about a hit to the head.

Such a whiny baby

Boy Wilson smashed that block lol

Man walker needs to make that tackle.

BA has been ramping up his physicality lately.

You love to see it

As a dt if you get both arms around the waist of a rb in the backfield you need to make that play.

The run that made it third and short for the stamps had a really slow whistle. Good 2-3 seconds after forward progress was stopped.

Brady's run had a really late whistle too though... he was on the ground for a 2 or 3 count before they blew it... whistles are in slow-mo tonight.

Yep and honestly he didn’t get more he went down and reached after. Poor reffing.

that’s a tough slow developing play for little gain. Not what we need right now.

An occasional run would help Brown

One good drive of play calling one bad.

Too slow getting rid of it but that guy was free as a bird.

Who's making these play calls?  Like we need ten yards, why throw it out only a yard ahead of the line.

I take back what I said about Buck setting Dru up for success.

Also … isn’t this typical of this team this year?  Should handle Calgary but are bound and determined to try and piss it away.

Can’t run play action all the time with out actually running. We never seem to get that.

That series looked like the Stamps offence..

Little slow getting the ball off there on the punt block.
Piss.

Late hit on the kicker?

We need a punter. Not this goof ball.

Hey Zach u got any gum?

Apparently he has a lot of access to gum as evidenced when they pan to him.

Ugh
