CFL Week 2 Games (Non-Bombers) Thread

Tonight, BC @ Calgary (Calgary -1.5)

Rourke starting per depth chart, for what that's worth.  Mike Reilly was limited in practice all week and is questionable to play, but is listed as the backup. For what that's worth.

Takeru Yamasaki remains at PK after missing two short field goals and a convert in the game the Lions lost by 4; the Lions do have import kicker Stefan Flintoff on their practice roster.

For the Stamps, Ka'deem Carey returns at starting tailback after a horrendous fourth quarter that sparked the Argo comeback last week.

Whoever books this stuff has Calgary favored by a measly 1.5 points, which seems kinda low to me, but I am not much of a gambler.

cfl.ca was 6-0 Stamps
MBB was 37-3 Stamps

Just like those tall brains above, I picked Calgary in the pickems, which means that Rourke will absolutely go off on them and the Lions will cruise 45-18.  I have a perfect record to preserve!

I don't understand why people are shitting on the rider fans that come to this board - of course they are going to pump the tires of their team when they are doing well... They are not being rude or i

Always have said Dickenson has no control over the idiots on that team

Can't count to 12? Riders can't count to 1 when it comes to giving a yard on defense to prevent offside lol.

They're so stupid. That DL is made, just made, for Saskatchewan.

Hamilton kick returners may want to start taking a knee. 3 games in a row a returner has been lit up.

Stout goal line D by the Riders, but again how do you not know to keep your hands out of the neutral zone pre-snap? Especially when you have a white goal line as a marker for you?

Banks not even the best receiver on his team anymore.

I'm late to the party but Stanback was always a stud... kind of like Sutton where the guy just grinds away and just keeps getting those hard yards that wear down defenses.

HH to the line of scrimmage for having the most net yards in the game so far

Although I like the nickname Brandon Blanks, I think instead of “Speedy” they should call him “Surly Banks”. Just looks so sour on the bench, and a whiner on the field. And with a few hard hits, gets soft.

Yeah. The none bomber I most enjoy watching. Just a violent quick north south runner.

that pass to Picton is the kind of play I'd like to see from the Bombers ... hit the receiver in flight down the seam.

Soo many bad angles. They running at him like he's Matt Nichols.

Costly mental errors by Sask. And like him or not, Fajardo can scramble well. He and Collaros head and shoulders above the others.

so the pass rush needs to be a little more cautious against Fajardo because he's got moves?  as opposed to Nichols who doesn't?

Bangedup blanks speedy reeeee at it already.

General mobility and speed. Nichols isn't gonna out run any one. You have to take a contain route. That's his running bread and butter.

ham has no urgency right now

Close on if the arm was going forward

Hamilton RT beaten cleanly on the fumble.  Hamilton OL stinky.

Van Zeyl best in the league! As he's beaten routinely. 😂

Just now, Eternal optimist said:

Oof. HAM looking awful in both games so far.

They could use the boost from switching to Evans.

Does Hamilton want to win this game or what
