Dennis Bernstein on XM says the PLD  extension is holding up the deal.   From what he has been told it's Vilardi, Iafallo, and Kupari.

It was tweeted this weekend (Mike McIntyre, I think?) that PLD did not get permission to discuss an extension with the Kings until very recently.

I honestly don't know anything about these guys.  If we can get a high draft pick thrown in as well at least that is something.  To think we gave up Laine and Roslovic for this, so it better be good.  

PLD strikes me as a guy who has a ton of talent, but will never ever live up to it, no matter where he goes.

I'm hearing Los Angeles and Winnipeg are closing in on thr Pierre-Luc Dubois deal. Looks imminent, with Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, and Rasmus Kupari as key pieces from LA. Still a couple of details to sort.

 

Kupari lead the kings in hits last year 

Iafalo is productive but a cap dump 

Vilardi was one of the best 10 defensive forwards last season 

 

Jets get better with this trade 

 

Kupari and Gabe = right shot centers/RW 

Iafalo = left shooting forward 

The bottom 6 improves significantly by adding kupari and Iafallo 

Iafallo Lowry Kupari = better than Apple and whoever else
