kelownabomberfan Posted November 11, 2018 Report Share Posted November 11, 2018 any of the old-timers here remember that year where there was some sort of ice storm the night before the game and they had to steam off the ice at the old Winnipeg stadium and they played the game on a much smaller field? This generation of turf sucks in freezing temps and snow. Snow and ice gets between the layers and it's like an ice rink. I always wore my old turf cleats when it got cold on the fieldturf.
