The NHL told the Winnipeg Sun via email, Wednesday, that Morrissey won’t be suspended or fined for the hit, which drew a five-minute major penalty for boarding. The play occurred at the end of the second period, the Jets leading, 3-1. While Morrissey appeared to leave his feet, his case was likely aided by the way Grzelcyk turned his back to him at the last-minute and by his clean history. Grzelcyk was shaken up on the play and a scrum ensued, although no other penalties were called. Should be some serious massbleed coming out of New England today. He was drafted in the 6th round back in 2012 and could barely hack it as a bottom 6 in the AHL (and IIRC, he's never played a regular season game in the NHL). He clearly thinks too highly of himself if he think he's a "professional" hockey player. He can't even carry himself in public as an amateur human being.
