Morrissey off the hook: http://winnipegsun.com/sports/hockey/nhl/winnipeg-jets/jets-morrissey-off-the-hook

Quote

Winnipeg Jets defenceman Josh Morrissey will not face supplemental discipline for his hit on Boston’s Matt Grzelcyk, Tuesday.

The NHL told the Winnipeg Sun via email, Wednesday, that Morrissey won’t be suspended or fined for the hit, which drew a five-minute major penalty for boarding.

The play occurred at the end of the second period, the Jets leading, 3-1.

While Morrissey appeared to leave his feet, his case was likely aided by the way Grzelcyk turned his back to him at the last-minute and by his clean history.

Grzelcyk was shaken up on the play and a scrum ensued, although no other penalties were called.

Should be some serious massbleed coming out of New England today.

So the guy claims to have loads of money for being an ECHL player?   The dude sounds like a complete jerk...

The guys in the ECHL barely make room and board.  Even in the AHL he was probably only pulling down 55k or so.  What a pathetic loser!

Yeah. Guys a real ******

Dodged a bullet?

Meh, not really. He was drafted in the 6th round back in 2012 and could barely hack it as a bottom 6 in the AHL (and IIRC, he's never played a regular season game in the NHL). He clearly thinks too highly of himself if he think he's a "professional" hockey player. He can't even carry himself in public as an amateur human being.

I'm just glad this stinky turd isn't part of the Jets organization anymore.

and so has Toronto

but now the Leafs have to put up with the Bolts (I mean come on at least they beat the Bruins like 3 out of 4 times)

Keller. He's on the Coyotes. Throw them a bone.

But they'll probably pick Boeser.

Pens are in, Canes are out

there must be something going on at the iceberg if it took them THIS long to clinch a berth

Stars need to win if we're going to clinch second place in the division

and we play the first two games at home
