"The rats are leaving the sinking ship": Lindsey Graham agrees to let Robert Mueller testify

Mueller published an op-ed in The Washington Post expressing displeasure with Donald Trump commuting Roger Stone. Senate Judiciary Committee Charman Lindsey Graham (R-Sc) stunned political observers on Sunday by siding with Democrats to allow former special counsel Robert Mueller to testify before his committee about his investigation into the Donald Trump administration.

Following a Mueller op-ed published Saturday in The Washington Post expressing displeasure with Donald Trump commuting Roger Stone's sentence, Graham tweeted, "Apparently Mr. Mueller is willing – and also capable – of defending the Mueller investigation through an oped in the Washington Post," before adding, "Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have previously requested Mr. Mueller appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about his investigation. That request will be granted."

(A threatened rodent bails out, soon to be followed by many others)

Graham has been inching away from Trump for a couple of weeks now....

Should surprise no one, Lidnsey Graham was very anti-Trump before he started kissing Trump's ass. Guy will take whatever position he deems most favourable to his own position. Trump is losing it so time to distance himself!

Spineless coward.

I recently watched Inglorious Basterds again and the whole carving a swastika on the forehead of nazis they leave alive seems like a great idea to adapt to the USA right now. Carve a big T in the forehead of every single person who started enabling Trump.

👁‍🗨Incredibly, they’re going after Dr Fauci to deflect where the blame should be.

White House takes aim at Fauci as he disagrees with Trump on virus

In a statement Saturday, a White House official told CNN that "several White House officials are concerned about the number of times Dr. Fauci has been wrong on things." The official went on to provide a lengthy list of examples, citing Fauci's comments early in the pandemic and linking to past interviews.

One senior administration official told CNN that some officials within the White House do not trust Fauci. According to the source, those officials think Fauci doesn't have the best interest of the President, pointing to interviews where he openly disagrees with what Trump has said.
Other administration officials have told CNN that while they have disagreements with Fauci's methods, they don't doubt his motives, and that his only concern was public health.

👁‍🗨 And another shameful attack. Why is this even allowed?

Trumps press conference begins with how great the stock market is doing, now going after China and Hong Kong, new cases and deaths be damned.

Continues rambling along, still blabbing about less testing = less cases....with some crap about "saving" 2.1 Million American lives.....with absolutely nothing about schools re-opening, manufacturing PPE, future stimulus, testing, or guidelines.
Currently rattling on about how a Biden administration, would "abolish the suburbs", destroy housing values, establish open boarders, and remove all vestiges of law and order - therefore allowing trafficking of women to run wild.

Let's be clear about what's going on here -- Trump simply has reporters gathered at the White House so he could get attention on this phony press conference or more accurately - a Trump one man campaign rally...... absolutely unhinged narrative

Trump stuns observers as his press conference goes off the deep end: ‘Self-destruction of the president’

President Donald Trump clearly misses holding rallies filled with thousands of his fawning supporters hanging on his every self-aggrandizing word. So on Tuesday, at a press event ostensibly staged to discuss his new executive order withdrawing recognition of Hong Kong as independent from China, he decided to indulge himself by launching into a meandering campaign-style monologue for the reporters in attendance.

He leaped from topic to topic, sometimes in a single run-on sentence, and often failed to complete thought. He took aim at his election opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, attacking a laundry list of the Democrat’s policies that he twisted and distorted. Recalling a campaign theme he has long ignored, Trump called out Biden’s son, saying: “Where’s Hunter?”

And he returned to many of his favorite topics, such as immigration. He boasted of his relationship with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and warned that a President Biden would tear down the wall he has started to build on parts of the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Probably never been a time when candidates are so different,” Trump said.

There was no consistent thread or argument to his ramblings, aside from his own supposed greatness. It was pure stream of consciousness, supplemented by factoids apparently printed on notes on his lectern. He claimed to be the defender of African Americans at one moment because he favors school choice, but then slipped into attacking low-income housing and saying he’d preserve the suburbs — an unsubtle code for protecting white neighborhoods.

Despite what PS McEnemy says Trump does not read and the picture book about the plan has not come out yet

Biden has been a very mainstream fixture in American politics for 40 years.   Now Trump suddenly exposes him as a wide eyed, demented Marxist agent of chaos?
Good luck with that
