Trump about to get indicted by special counsel Jack Smith.  Apparently Mark meadows flipped and plead to lesser offences with limited immunity.  Justice May finally be served!

That fat slop and former Trump bootlicker Chris Christie has had his come to Jesus moment and is trying to make everyone forget how much he enabled Trump and all the crazy **** that is going on in politics.

True, but he appears to be the only candidate now willing to call out Trump directly on his BS (both past and present).  I at least welcome the chaos Christie’s candidacy causes the GOP.

They're all cast from the same stone. Everything is transactional with others to help their own personal situations. At any moment CC could go back to supporting Trump if he knew it would help him personally.

RIGHT WING CHAOS AS FOX IS THREATENING TO SUE TUCKER CARLSON OVER TWITTER SHOW

Fox News has notified Tucker Carlson that he has breached his contract by launching a new show on Twitter, and legal action could be coming.

Axios reported:
Shortly after Carlson posted the first episode of his new show on Twitter Tuesday evening, Fox News general counsel Bernard Gugar sent a letter to Carlson’s lawyers saying Carlson “is in breach” of his contract agreement.

“In connection with such breach and pursuant to the Agreement, Fox expressly reserves all rights and remedies which are available to it at law or equity.”

According to Fox, Carlson signed a contract that makes him exclusive to Fox News and is prohibited from doing any other type of show whether it is TV, radio, or Internet while still under contract to Fox News.

Carlson’s contract reportedly runs through 2024, so if Fox decides to sue him to keep him off the air, the former top-rated host will lose all momentum if he tries to launch a new venture after his current contract has expired.

Fox and Carlson are already locked in a battle about his firing from the network, and it looks like Carlson might have tried to put one over on Fox while playing Elon Musk for the fool. Twitter should have been well versed in Carlson’s Fox contract before they ever agreed to host his show.

Fox News could be out to bury Tucker Carlson so that by the time he is legally allowed to return, he will have no audience left to return to.

Mark Meadows pleads guilty as part of immunity deal against Trump:

Mark Meadows, the former Trump White House Chief of Staff and former North Carolina Republican Congressman, reportedly has accepted a plea deal from the Dept. of Justice in exchange for pleading guilty to federal charges.
According to The Independent’s Andrew Feinberg, Meadows has also been co-operating with Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigators, which several legal experts have recently suggested was likely happening.

“Over the course of the last year, grand jurors have heard testimony from numerous associates of the ex-president, including nearly every employee of Mar-a-Lago, former administration officials who worked in Mr Trump’s post-presidential office and for his political operation, and former high-ranking administration officials such as his final White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows,” Feinberg reports at The Independent.

“Mr Meadows has already given evidence before the grand jury and is said to be cooperating with the investigation into his former boss,” the article, published Wednesday afternoon, states. “It is understood that the former North Carolina congressman will plead guilty to several federal charges as part of a deal for which he has already received limited immunity in exchange for his testimony.”

In an update to its reporting, The Independent adds Meadows' attorney denies he would ever enter any guilty plea:"A source who was briefed on the agreement claimed that the alleged agreement will involve the ex-chief of staff entering pleas of guilty to unspecified federal crimes but an attorney for Mr. Meadows, George Terwilliger, denied that to The Independent. Mr. Terwilliger said that the idea that his client would enter any guilty pleas was 'complete bulls***' but did not address the matter of immunity in a brief telephone conversation with this reporter."

My suspicious skeptical side suggests this constant unhinged unglued thing is all an act and there is a lot more going on behind the scenes that very few of us are aware of.

My guess is there is constant negotiation and slimy stuff going on between the DoJ and Trumps camp that would make the majority of us vomit and be very angry.

Why would any thoughtful person of any political strip have any confidence that Trump will be held accountable for his serious criminal activity?

Naive optimism?

Guilty as charged.

Trump has bullied, lied and threatened so many people that he has few significant allies any more. I think they finally got the bastard.

I wonder if Mike Pence realizes that nobody likes him.

Here's one of many reasons why.

Excerpt taken from a story by Kaitlin Lewis Newsweek:

"Let me be clear that no one's above the law," Pence responded. "But with regards to the unique circumstances here ... I would just hope that there would be a way for them to move word without the dramatic and drastic and divisive step of indicting the former president of the United States."

I'm sorry, what?

"Ukraine has imposed sanctions on Alexander Lebedev – the former KGB intelligence officer whose son Evgeny sits in the House of Lords – in connection with Vladimir Putin’s invasion.

The national security and defence council in Kyiv imposed sanctions on Lebedev Sr last October. The decision – first reported by Tortoise media – emerged on Thursday and follows a decree signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Lebedev, a KGB operative turned media tycoon, owns a hotel and other assets in Crimea, the peninsula Vladimir Putin illegally annexed in 2014. Ukraine accuses Lebedev of actively destabilising its sovereignty by investing in Crimea’s tourist industry."

Revealed: Mar-a-Lago wasn’t the first time Trump 'evidence' was flooded

Donald Trump has been here before — 35 years ago — with an investigation. Then a flood in a room with evidence.

It happened when auditors in New York City spent two years probing more than $3 million in unpaid rent the city was expecting from Trump’s Grand Hyatt hotel from operations in 1986.

That flood was noted in passing as part of a 2016 report by CBS News in the context of then-candidate Trump refusing to release his tax returns, purportedly because he was being audited. It said the two-year audit of Trump’s hotel from the late 1980s involved “stonewalling, disorganization and obfuscation at every turn.”

The story has a whole new context after CNN reported that in October of last year, a drained swimming pool at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and resort flooded a room with computer servers containing surveillance video.

Skepticism abounded immediately that it was done on purpose to damage evidence in the Justice Department’s investigation of potential obstruction. Trump is under investigation for his handling of classified documents after leaving office as president. The video could show how and when documents were moved.

In the Grand Hyatt case, city auditors filed a 73-page report, posted by CBS News. It said that Trump’s lease obligations should have required substantial documentation — “documentation (that) the Hotel — for one reason or another — could not or did not provide.”

Of particular interest today is the next sentence.

“In September, 1988, the Hotel informed us that it could not locate seven of the twelve monthly general ledgers, because they ‘were discarded after they were severely damaged by water when the room in which they were stored was flooded,’” the report said.

There are at least three other criminal prosecutions or investigations aimed at Trump plus the civil suit won by E. Jean Carroll and will likely be re-filed due to Trump's repeating of the same slurs and allegations that cost him the first loss. Donny-boy has a couple of interesting years ahead of him.
