I don't think the average fan gives a **** who the coordinators are. i'm sure there are lots of season ticket holders who couldn't name the coordinators. Fans care about winning. Firing lapolice isn't going to cause a few thousand fans to stay home. Maybe Tina and the kids.
I've never wanted Lapolice here, V1, V2 or V3, and I'm still with everyone else in that it's a ridiculous conversation at this point and would be a pointless change at this point of the season that likely causes more problems.

I know this place can get pretty negative after a loss. The loss sucks, but that was a really fun game to be at

When you have that type of receiver it's a nice plan to have. Throw to Stegall.
To a lesser degree look at some of the catches SJ green is making from Ray this year. Our receivers wouldn't catch some of those. I don't mean that as a knock on our receivers, but as recognition of how good a guy like Green is at coming down with the ball. We don't make a ton of catches in traffic.
I wish teenage me knew to enjoy the 2001 season more (other than the grey cup game.....)

maybe we could start a gofundme to give TSN to hire him back as a signing bonus for taking him away from the team.

My hh would be dressler for following through on the last play and stopping the TD. It didn't matter, the game was lost, and he was still pure effort.

Wasn't the prettiest game, but glad we picked up the W. I picked up some cheap ($200 round trip) flights into Winnipeg for the Argo's game on the 13th, and I'll be headed to Vancouver for the following week for the game there. Will be rocking my Denmark jersey, bombers are 3-0 in games I've worn it to. Prior to that they were 0-x in my lifetime going to games (that's what I get for going to games primarily in Alberta)

It's not like QB's had terrible completion percentages against us last year. Yes we had lots of picks, but man did we let QB's pick us apart on any play that wasn't a turnover. Hoping this year the D line can manage some pressure to help the secondary out. If they can't Ray could pick us apart.

My only jersey was a Doug Brown, so at the end of the 2015 season decided to pick up a new one.
Went with Denmark thinking it's safe cause he's too good to be cut
After buying the jersey we sign Dressler and Smith, Denmark gets cut
So now I'm wondering if I should bother wearing it on my road trip to the Lions game
Then he signs with SK, jersey gets retired before being worn. Can't wear it if he's an active Rider
Cut by riders, signed with bombers. Got cheap flights to Winnipeg for the banjo bowl, wore Denmark jersey, disappointed by the amount of Dressler riders jerseys. Same way I wouldn't wear a bombers Denmark if he was playing in SK, riders shouldn't be wearing their dressler while he's a bomber (imo)
Wore it as well to the game in BC. Bombers are now 2-0 in games I wear my denmark jersey to. I think they were 0-everything for games I went to in the Brown jersey, mainly since the typical games I go to are in Calgary/Edmonton

No different from any other job. Pretty much every single person I've worked with that has retired lets the calendar year roll over, gets their bonus, takes their paid vacation and then retires. Nobody retires in December and passes up on the bonus and vacation pay.

different sport, not an exact correlation, but by these standards was Mark Scheifele a bad pick in 2011 for the Jets?
Ranked 16th, he was a bit of a reach at 7. Highly touted Sean Couturier was still available as well defenseman Dougie Hamilton amongst others ranked higher than Scheifele.
That season Scheifele managed to get into 7 games for the Jets, earning 1 point. Couturier played 77 in Philadelphia, had a respectable rookie season and earned praise for his mature 2 way game for his age.
The following year Scheifele had a 4 game audition with no points before being sent down.

So at the draft, many, myself included thought the Scheifele pick was a miss when a guy like Couturier was available.
A year later, it really looked like Couturier was the better pick.
2 years after the draft it was a bit murkier as Couturier hit the sophomore slump, but still had a year and a half of experience, Scheifele had 11 games.

Fast forward to today, while the steal of the draft probably was Calgary with Gaudreau, Scheifele could end up being the best pick made in the 1st round.
So not saying Richards will ever be useful, but the reason teams have pro GM's instead of forum member GM's is because you don't just run an autodraft based on the yahoo rankings. The pick may or may not work out, but there's no harm in holding off on judgement a bit longer before labeling it.
Or like I labeled the Scheifele pick when it was made, questionable pick but time will tell. And in that case I was reminded why I'm not a pro scout/gm

all you old people talking about this mythical Grey Cup win the Bombers are rumored to have had. I don't buy into religion because I'll believe it when I see it. I've never seen god or a miracle, or a Bombers Grey Cup win (that would cross miracle off the list at list if it happened)

The way PI is called on now, on a close play in the end zone I'd rather a big body like Loffler try separate the guy from the ball with a big hit, than try get his hands in there and get a BS PI call (in this particular play he wasn't' close enough to do anything other than the hit, but just as a general thought). I loved the hit live, as brutal of a collision as it was.
