Its a minor thing, but I think it speaks to something larger. Dickenson does not feel like he can take Faj out of the game. “I’d have a fight in my hands if I tried to bench him”. The guy is self-admittedly not in charge.

The actual media doesn't cover the league properly, so fans have to fill the void to create content. The Athletic doesn't even have a CFL section anymore. The only reason I originally subscribed was for Penton's insiders article. Some have even developed contacts over time. I don't love all of them, but I mostly appreciate the intent.
