Ok, so, Willie Jefferson breaks the 50/50 mark (50 sacks, 50 pass knock downs). I'm sure the article was shared already - but I'll link it below. One line stood out to me: Jefferson has three sacks, 12 tackles, a Pick-6 and a league-leading seven pass knockdowns this season. And it could be argued the four-time CFL All-Star – and the league’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player – might be having his best season. I was personally feeling Jefferson wasn't having that great of a season. It has been picking up a bit, but I didn't see him causing much pressure early. Maybe not walking into a starting job, but there's plenty of opportunities to jump into one soon. Literally every team except for us, BC, and Calgary would have tried their #2 if they had one - or already has.

But they never played. Strev will absolutely return to the CFL when his prospects have dried up. I don't think he's going to return to Winnipeg. I know a few blue-gogglers like to talk about all this cap space we're saving for him, but why would he sign a 2-year deal to back up Zach when he could get a better opportunity tp start elsewhere?

Worst case, you could throw Johnny outside. I don't know why we're forcing a square peg in a round hole when it come to the run game.

At this point - warm body with experience in our system is pretty good.

I doubt they're going to make any moves for financial reasons. When Demski/Alexander/etc are ready, they're going to be on the field.

Doesn't bother me like it did with Roberts, but congrats Andrew. My pre-season hope was a third straight title over the Argos in the Grey Cup. He might drag them there, yet.

My buddies and I were talking pre-season about how we need at least a six-peat. A five-peat puts us ahead of Edmonton's total, but a six-peat makes puts us ahead of the Warren Moon led dynasty of the 80's.

Houston played last year and was not successful. But he showed potential and the coaches kept him around because they recognized the talent and is now doing great.

And once again - MOS wouldn’t need to because Kyle would sign these POS’ in the first place. We can jump on Dickie all we want for the controlling these guys, but he’s not the one signing them.
