  1. You are very optimistic
  2. I wasn’t really referring to this coming season, just replying to those who indicated he’d never want to leave Winnipeg. It’s inherently part of his job description.
  3. It was definitely exciting until those final couple of minutes. Then...yes. Infuriating.
  4. If he's going to make a career as a coach, he's going to have to be ok with moving around.
  5. Yeah...maybe next year. Can't see the Cards randomly dropping him for no reason.
  6. Winston Rose. Just unbelievable.
  7. Jefferson used to be a FA for hire - but maybe his family situation has caused him to look for for stability. Lawler might get an NFL look if he continues on a crazy pace. We've seen guys his age do it recently. Jeffcoat might be the guy that a team offers stupid money to that we're unable to match. Alford, as our ROY candidate, might parlay that into an NFL looksee. Harris should probably retire.
  8. BC game for sure, but then we're on bye, right? Lots of time for travel and quarentine.
  9. Kind of disagree. Reid was just fast. It was his only skill set. He would break an open hole for a long run or he would get stuffed for no gain.
  10. Do it. My buddy is bringing a keg for the tail gate. Pull up a chair and join in the fun.
  11. I wouldn't mind seeing the Streveler treatment. Letting him get a first down on the sneak and then keep him in there for a hurry up rep - if the coaching staff thinks he can handle it. I honestly expected him out for the next series. Not worried at all at the moment.
  12. No joke. I am honestly considering flying down now.
  13. I 100% do not understand the MOS loyalty argument. It he was loyal to a fault, why isn't Legs still in? Why bring in Mourtada at all? Or Crapinga for that matter?
  14. Just an entry level coaching job. Same reason Buck Pierce started as our RB coach.
  15. When we first signed him, he couldn't get across the border because of assault charges against his girlfriend.
  16. Mo was definitely more a of a playmaker. Didn't lay a hit like BA though.
  17. Sure, it's just constant. And it's never, "Oh, I wish we still had Medlock" It's always, "The Bomber should do this this and that to get Medlock here", like it's simply a matter of Walters not trying hard enough.
  18. I really don't know why people keep bringing up Medlock. The Bombers want him here - he doesn't want to be here. It's over. He's retired and doing something else. Likely not - meaning it is a reference to his nationality. And telling a racial minority to "go home" clearly has negative racial connotations. So, while I know some people think others are being "too sensitive" - sometimes you just have to think for a moment before you say things. It's not hard.
  19. Where do I sign?
  20. Would the same reference be made if he was a different nationality? I kind of doubt it.
  21. Totally, but that first half of the year was amazing. The D (again, for those first 8 games) was the most exciting defence I've ever seen. Totally disagree. Funniest banter of the rivalry (And both teams take out billboards every year, don't they? Long standing).
  22. I don't know how you can make that point at all. That's absolutely what happened.
  23. I don't understand the hate for swaggerville. At that moment in time, when we were 7-1, it was my absolute favourite time I;ve ever had as a Bomber fan. That was an incredible summer.
  24. They're more #FOFI
