  1. It's going to be nice to have a year without a cross-over, actually.
  2. I mean, obviously? But I care less about the guys that Lapo brought in and more about the guys that left over the last two seasons before Lapo.
  3. I'm not sure when I said it, but it was sometime in MOS' first three years when I was talking to a buddy and expressed that I really believed Kyle Walters was going to GM us to our next Grey Cup, but I didn't think MOS would be the coach. Happy to be wrong, obviously. Mike is the kind of guy you root for. Bringing up this thread is obviously ridiculous though. That third season was a tipping point and there was certainly other outcomes that would have led to MOS being let go....
  4. Absolutely shocked (pleasantly so).
  5. Wouldn't the Argos game then compete with the Leafs?
  6. Doesn't matter who is playing the best really, awards and all-stars come down to stats and reputation.
  7. I believe he was moved to the active roster but scratched for the games, so I don't believe he actually played.
  8. He practiced with an NFL team all last year while everyone else was sitting at home. I don't know how they work him in, but I don't think we have to be worried about his readiness to come in.
  9. Love this. Completely agree with Ritchie too. Rust always plays a factor.
  10. Something I read - Our points for are more than double our points against. The last team to do that was the 1997 Argos led by none other than Mike O'Shea.
  11. No one was disrespecting him, lol. Universal love for Sayles.
  12. I don't know if I agree with you, but if nothing else, he is back in the fold and ready to take a spot next season when one of our current starters inevitably move on.
  13. We've had more than our share of seconds from the Lions.
  14. Here it is - what a joke. https://3downnation.com/2021/08/03/ticats-season-preview-the-undefeated-season-is-possible/
  15. He definitely will, though I'd argue one of our defensive players might be more deserving. Remember that guy from 3rdDown asking if the Ti-Cats would go undefeated? 😀🤣
  16. A good game for a casual fan is lots of scoring and a win.
  17. You are very optimistic
  18. I wasn’t really referring to this coming season, just replying to those who indicated he’d never want to leave Winnipeg. It’s inherently part of his job description.
  19. It was definitely exciting until those final couple of minutes. Then...yes. Infuriating.
  20. If he's going to make a career as a coach, he's going to have to be ok with moving around.
  21. Yeah...maybe next year. Can't see the Cards randomly dropping him for no reason.
  22. Winston Rose. Just unbelievable.
  23. Jefferson used to be a FA for hire - but maybe his family situation has caused him to look for for stability. Lawler might get an NFL look if he continues on a crazy pace. We've seen guys his age do it recently. Jeffcoat might be the guy that a team offers stupid money to that we're unable to match. Alford, as our ROY candidate, might parlay that into an NFL looksee. Harris should probably retire.
  24. BC game for sure, but then we're on bye, right? Lots of time for travel and quarentine.
