Crompton wasn't very good last year. His record was but it was because Montreal's D was very good. Pretty easy to throw up prayers to Duron Carter tho.

Still get the impression that there might be a spot on the 4th line for Lemieux tho, not sure why but... he's really impressed me at the young stars tourney, Really good pest, draws penalties, sticking up for his team mate last night.. was pretty impressive actually. Probably back to Junior one more year but.. seriously wouldn't be surprised if he gets a few games with the club to start the year. He's exactly the type of 4th liner that you'd like on your team.

Ill say this, as much as i liked Nichols last game, if Nichols isn't going to sign with us next season, still think he does, but if he doesn't... I'd be willing to trade for Glenn, he's good insurance, probably the best backup in the league when healthy and actually knows his role. Don't think it would take much to get him out of riderville, maybe a 3rd round pick even, don't think i'd offer more than that but... if Nichols decides to try to be a starter elsewhere, I'd consider making a move for Glenn.

Watched it last night also and thought it was pretty good. Definitely sounds like Petan,Ehlers and Armia have a good shot this year to make the team. Thought chevy actually spoke more highly of Petan than he did Ehlers, Petan really impressed the coaches last season he said during camp and i think if he has a similar camp this year, he's gonna make it. It wouldn't shock me to see Ehlers not make the team and go play in Europe for a year.. all sorts of skill there but not sure if he's ready yet... also of note was they are pretty far along in contract talks with Ladd, my guess, a deal is done shortly and with Buff, basically in the preliminary stages... also have talked to scheif trouba and lowry about deals too, impression i got was theres going to be one long term deal and 2 bridge deals there.

Just see no reason to be overly concerned about anything, this is really just a tourney to get some rest off, call it a tourney doesn't even make sense as the winner of the tourney is nobody... i mean, no real awards given out at all, It's to basically get your game legs and hands back in time for main camp and for some guys on tryout contracts to make an impression.. Petan,Ehlers,Lemieux have all shown flashes at times, Olsen too, They have all shown lots of skill out there, De Leo also.. Nothing is on the line here at all, It's all about basically avoiding injuries and getting your legs and hands back in time for camp... the guys who will be at camp, some will probably be sent back to junior. But what it does show me, Is outside of Morrissey and Kostalek and even Nogier, we really do lack D men.

Keep in mind. Jets drafted lots of NCAA guys who aren't there also.

8 10 and in the playoffs is what I see. Only real difficult games we have left are against Edmonton once and Calgary. The rest are all very winnable.

Watched it a couple of times now and i don't see a deflection, i see a ball that was thrown slightly behind the receiver but adams did get both of his hands on it... he should have had it...I would put that one on Adams for sure, any time the receiver gets both hands on the ball and doesn't come up with the catch, it's on the receiver.
