The PP isn't really that big of an issue, it's the PK that is really killing them. Like POMO said in his PC today, there have been teams who ranked 30th in PP during the regular season win the stanley cup, I personally don't think that's exactly true but... teams near the bottom on the PP for sure, It's the PK that really matters. If you are having to score 2 or 3 PP guys a night to win a game, you don't deserve to win. Look at last night... 4-3 final right.... Jets 0 for 2 on the PP St Louis = 2 for 3 That's the difference, it's not the 0 for on the Jets that's the difference, it's the 2 PP goals by St Louis that is, Our PK sucks and until it improves... fun fact, if St Louis goes 0 for 3 on the PP, we win 3-2. The difference isn't the PP, it's the PK and last nights game, well, I don't think theres a better example out there that shows you that the PK makes all the difference in the WORLD... we outscored St Louis, who is a damn good team 3-2 5 vs 5.... Stay out of the damn box, or kill these penalties off and we win. The bigger problem is the taking of these penalties.... yeah some are weak, actually lowrys and the extra minor to scheif were both BS and weak calls, but... guess what, you don't take those penalties and we win the game... It's really that simple. Stay out of the box, Jets have a target on their back, they should realize that they aren't allowed to get away with what other teams are, yeah it's BS but... it is what it is. Time for the Jets to stop the bitching and complaining about the penalties and quite simply put, STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BOX.

It's obvious watching Lowry on the ice that speed is not one of his main attributes, He's as slow as slow can be, he was last year too, just not as slow. I'd suspect he got somewhat complacent, starting reading the headlines a bit too much, went to his head.. He won't be brought up by Friday but somebody will have to be. I'd love to see Chase De Leo brought up, guy has played quite well for the Moose and deserves a chance but if i had to guess, because it's POMO and he loves his veterans, Halischuk or Fraser cuz you know... Youth Movement. If it's De Leo or Armia, good. If it's an older player like Hali or Fraser, Well, what's the point. They have both been awful with the Moose. If the idea is to add speed to your lineup, then De Leo or Armia are my best guess. If it's not, then who knows. Raffl is a lost cause, he should be tearing up the AHL but he isn't, he's struggling big time. He's 29 and has very little upside. Yeah he was a nice training camp story but that's all he ever will be. He's not good.

Mark Chipman Presser - Development Deal No Longer Certain
Goalie replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in General Discussion
It's happening. -
It's true and they had more pk shots for than pp shots for the same game
-
Jets last place in central. Close to last in nhl
-
Lol. Moose play tonight. Jets not till Friday. He's on his ELC. He will be back up b4 Friday and in the lineup unless a trade is coming. Seriously. The benefit of having your ahl team in the same city. That simple.
-
Pascal Vincent I think. Maybe Maurice tho
-
Noel Thorpe signs resignation papers in Montreal. Sounds like he's off to Edmonton as DC
-
You know there are 3 other guys on the ice too. Steens goal. Buff was screening helle. People always will blame 1 guy but in sports... it's never just one guy. We play a very passive 4 man box on the pk. They need to be more agressive. That's on the coaches
-
I'd say he is. Scheif that is
-
Agreed. However after 2 he was leading the jets in Ice time with 15 minutes. He's being played 2 much. That's on the coaches
-
Lack of power play and taking penalties is the biggest problem. Blame refs. Stuart. Myers. Whoever you want. Our PP and PK are costing us games. Do we even get shots on the PP? Fire Vincent and Huddy. Team needs a remake on the ice too.
-
And the people who know more about hockey than all of us combined gave him that contract. Liabilities don't make it to the NHL. They are playing beer league
-
90 percent of them are D players. Worst D In the league. Pass
-
Lol. There's like 50 more games to go.

Pav

It's not true. All someone said is they have agreed on the length (6 years) but they ain't there on the cash

Ladd isn't worth it. Neither is buff. Trouba is on coke if he thinks 20 points gets him 7 million Trade Ladd. Trade buff. Sign trouba at 7 years 42 million. Trade for Hamonic. I'd even go 6 6 6 6 7 7 7 for Trouba. Combined 7 years 45 million. Fair The fact that buff and Ladd think they should be getting superstar elite money says it all. Trade them now

Game 30 : Jets @ Blackhawksdown
Goalie replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Kadri and these are exactly the penalties I'm talking about and I'm sure the Jets are 2. No issues with the dumb lazy ones, the stick infractions etc, it's those ones against Myers,Buff,Lowry for just being bigger and stronger that are really annoying. -

Personally, It's about damn time. It's pretty obvious that the Jets have targets on their back, It's really obvious actually. They get calls against them that other teams constantly get away with. They should have gone on about the reffing a while ago instead of now but they are definitely right and everyone knows it. It's actually ridiculous some of the calls they get. Will complaining about it help? Maybe, Maybe not. I have no issues with the Jets getting called for these penalties as long as the other team they are playing gets them same calls against them and they don't so the Jets have a valid point. I'm with you on this. Can't hurt. Let's officiating know we've noticed. We're a big strong team that shouldn't be penalized for aggressiveness within the rules. Not upset over the dumb (i.e., lazy) penalties though, no issue with the refs there, that's on us. Agreed. No issues with the dumb lazy penalties like slashing or high sticking or things of that nature, The issue i have is when one of our bigger guys, let's just use Buff as an example, He hits someone and because he's bigger, he gets a penalty. Has happened to Lowry a couple times too. 2 minutes for basically being stronger. -
I guess 2 spots technically... the one guard spot and the 6th oline spot. Don't think Neufeld or Picard should be either. Money better spent elsewhere.

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania

Watched Becky vs Sasha <--- very good match The tag title ladder match was insane, Kalisto is just crazy good... his finisher off the top of the ladder was amazing and the best spot I've seen in a ladder match in years. Ryback- Rusev - Boring Del Rio- Swagger - Boring Charlotte and Paige was good for what it was Didn't mind the Wyatts destroying the ECW originals... Wyatts needed to be dominant and were. The main event was awful and boring. Sheamus is terrible and Reigns is being forced fed to the fans so much and it's not working at all Also thought Owens vs Ambrose was a really good match. Not sure I'd have put the strap on Ambrose tho Last thing I'll say... It's hard to take the League Of Nations thing seriously because for months and months, every one of them except Del Rio (who wasn't around) was being jobbed left right and center, losing night in night out. Now they put them together and they are pushing them as their top Heel group, but how can they be taken seriously when the fans have been made to think they are nothing more than Jobbers. It doesn't work and the ratings reflect that. Put me in the group that is not excited at all about the prospects of HHH vs Reigns at Wrestlemania. That really doesn't do it for me at all. They missed their chance to turn Reigns Heel, Unless Stephanie gets all lovey dovey for Reigns and Costs HHH the match at Mania, this is just a pointless feud. It means nothing at all. It's not gonna put asses in seats, yeah they will inflate the numbers at Cowboys stadium and say they will have over 100,000 people there but it won't be close to it. WWE is in a tough spot at the moment, It's time for change for sure but it almost seems like they really don't know what to do. -
Yup This is a very solid signing. Really liked his play and it was very noticeable when he got hurt, we got worse. Bryant,Chungh,Goossen,??,Daniels is a nice group. Now upgrade that one guard position and cut Picard and try to trade Neufeld. Not 2 even mention the fact that cutting picard and either trading or cutting neufeld saves you tons of SMS space that can be used elsewhere.

Game 30 : Jets @ Blackhawksdown

Crosby is fine. It's not Crosby that is the problem. It's the lack of D and the system that they played under their previous coach. Crosby is still the best player in the world... and it's not even close. He will be fine. -
What really makes no sense here is this isn't a lateral move, It's not like Maas is going from OC to OC, he's going from OC to Head Coach... Head Coach and OC technically but last time I checked, Head Coach is a step up from OC. Basically if i was the Mediator, I would go... ok so he was OC in Ottawa, he's now Head Coach in Edmonton, That's a step up... CASE CLOSED. No compensation.
