One thing I do love is no Subban, and no Flames on Team Canada. Tells me we have "hockey people" running things. Voynov won't be allowed to play. The world cup of hockey. But only people the nhl allows to play will play. It's just a cash grab for the nhl. It's actually really bad for international hockey. Pokka would have been a nice pick up...we really don't have a 3RHD unless you consider Postma one. The other 3 are better than a 3rd pairing. Pokka would have filled that spot nicely while learning the NHL game. It sure would be nice if they cleared up the expansion question(s). Just move the Coyotes to Vegas already. I couldn't agree more on Burmi and I know people are going to say, "he picked up his game in the last 15 or so games". With the talent we have coming up and some players needing to clear waivers that wouldn't, I hope he isn't on the Jets this fall. His PK time can be filled in by Armia and/or Copp. He is a 4th liner that should go to other young players. Trade him and Staf and Thorbs somewhere and clean out some dead weight. Staf will be on the team pushing every young player vying for a RW spot down a line. What is he, as a vet, going to teach the kids? How to disappear for games on end?
