The Hamonic ship has probably sailed far away from Winnipeg by now. I don't really get it, you don't think Myers is that great but you'd move him for Hamonic? who you think is?? It makes no sense really. Hamonic is a good defensive d man, yeah that would be nice to have, for sure, no doubt but... you are really over valuing Hamonic and under valuing Myers big time. Your last sentence is irrelevant and makes no sense really, If Doughty was available or Keith or Seabrook or Erik Karlsson or really name a bunch of d men better than Buff cuz theres a ton. I'll say this much, If both Myers and Hamonic were available at the deadline last year, Yup, Myers would be the bigger prize. That's just reality. Hamonic is good but he's not that good, I have a feeling some just think he's good because he's from St Malo and wants to be traded here. I like the guy, he's a good guy on and off the ice, he's not elite and honestly, i would almost think that if Myers for Hamonic did happen that the Isles would be the ones adding cuz i think if you were Shopping Myers around, some other team would offer you more than just Hamonic. Man, i hope if Hamonic does get traded here that people don't immediately start crapping on him because your expectations for Hamonic are way to high. He is what he is. He's a good defensive D man, we don't really have a guy like that on our team but reality is, no teams have a RHD side of Buff, Myers,Trouba either. RHD is not our issue, LHD is. If Hamonic was an LHD man, trade for him now. But he's not, right now, i guess what i'd call him would be a luxury not really a necessity I like Hamonic and i'd be happy if he did end up here but... How much better does Hamonic make the Jets? Reality is not much better. If at all.

I don't think it's as simple as yes or no. I think him being a friend of Troubas played a role in why he was drafted.

Myers is better than Hamonic tho and isn't that the point here? Regardless of what anyone says, Myers is better than Hamonic. And he is progressing, I'm not sure how you can say he isn't, He's put up lots of points so far, he's pretty good defensively, better than Buff in the D zone.

Trouba on Parise last night behind our net was the hit of the game for sure, Solid Clean hit, Parise got right up but that's what he does.

Trouba wants a bigger role. I can't blame him. But when you sign his brother TJ to help out with the hockey academy... and you draft his best friend copp... you are doing it for a reason. To add good influence in his life and to make him happy.

You are really over valuing Hamonic here big time. He's good but he's not elite. Myers can be. With that said I'd do myers for Hamonic. I ain't adding tho. Lots over valuing Hamonic since it's come out he wants to be here. Prior to that.... he wasn't really talked about that much if at all.

Scheif will get long term. Trouba might also. Lowry will get nothing close to that money. Guy was sent to the moose for God's sake lol. Why are we adding to myers to get Hamonic? Who wants to be traded and his preferred destination is here.

Kind of a fun interesting fact. Very rare to see this. Blake Wheeler has scored both game winning goals the last 2 games and he's done it in 3 minutes and 7 seconds.

Boring to watch but that's what you want on road games. Helle strong. Really liked ehlers Perreault Armia line. Trouba and buff with a good game. Really like Halischuk. All effort out there. He should have a perm spot on the 4th line. Minny is last years Chicago for the Jets.

There was some speculation when they traded for Myers that they might eventually flip him. I wouldn't be surprised if they do. I don't think having buff myers and trouba is likely. I think one will have to go. I dunno who. What if they trade buff buy sign him as a free agent lol.

Bob Mckenzie is an insider but I'd agree that he might be guessing. Why couldn't they afford both. Honestly if it does mean moving Enstrom and Myers and even Ladd.... sign buff. Sign Trouba. Besides they are playing together now so gotta think they are somewhat experimenting with the possibility of a buff trouba pairing moving forward. Unless you get an offer that you can't refuse for Buff... cuz this team showed they can play and win without buff. Don't forget he was suspended for the final 3 4 5 games last year and the only loss was in a shootout to Colorado

It's just pointless to even talk about this stuff. Some of you obviously think these guys are perfect little angels who are totally committed. Blake Wheeler just called out a bunch of people the other day question among other things their commitment to the team and game for that matter but what does he know. Yeah, not everything on the internet is true, no kidding but... when guys like McKenzie or Lebrun or guys of that nature say or suggest it, it's more than likely true.

Why would he say NO? Asking him to waive his no trade clause is a polite way of saying "we don't want you here anymore". Why would anyone say NO.

By many people. It was a knock on him when he was drafted. The Jets asked him to go join Scheif with Gary Roberts during the summers and Trouba passed on it. Seriously, look this stuff up, you are on the internet, it shouldn't be hard to find these things. People wonder why Trouba struggled so much to start this season and their excuse was he was playing with Stuart, Well, that's a pretty good excuse but playing with stuart doesn't mean you are noticeably slower and out of shape. Trouba has off ice issues, People can believe what they want but... this stuff isn't made up at all. It's widely known by many people that Trouba has his off ice issues, some seem to think as much as some want him to be that #1 franchise D guy, he never will be because his off ice commitment is lacking. Doughty and true Franchise D men don't have that issue, Trouba does, it might just be a phase and perhaps one day he takes his off ice stuff seriously but he hasn't yet. The guy looked like he was skating in quicksand to start the year, that's a sign that you are out of shape, that you didn't take your off-season as seriously as you could have. I like the guy, but there are some red flags with him there for sure. He has potential, will he ever truly reach it? I'm not exactly sure if he will, i hope he does but... something tells me he will never be a legit #1 d man but he will be a good number 2. Ever since his buddy Zach got traded, Trouba hasn't looked the same.
