I don't think Hutch has much value, I think Pav has more value than Hutch... especially if the Jets could retain part of his salary for his final season next year. I don't think Hutch gets you much back at all, Quite honestly, I'd be somewhat surprised if they put him on waivers and someone picked him up... I just don't think they go that route and i personally don't think they will send Helle down, Helle is now the starter on this team, he's the best goalie they have, healthy or not healthy and it's not close. I'm not sure what they do, maybe they can send PAV down to the AHL on a conditioning stint, I'm not sure, that would be what i would do and give them some more time to think about it... I don't know.. they could always carry 3 goalies and send someone else down or make a trade elsewhere.. I don't know. Helle is too good to be sent down, That was just a little joke on my part cuz i'd love to see a top 3 pick and i think Helle being so good, it means they would get another 8 -12 pick instead of a top 3... i don't agree with tanking either but.... making moves that helps make you win less games without exactly tanking would be fine with me. Maybe sign Ladd and if he's injured, shut him down for the rest of the year, same with Scheif maybe, maybe Send Helle down, (they can't tho, he's too good)

Perhaps wanting to go was the wrong word to use, he didn't but he also couldn't deal with the thought of the team leaving Winnipeg. The guy loved Winnipeg and still does to this day. He was distraught because he found out that it was for sure that the team was leaving. He felt betrayed cuz the management at the time kind of bs'd him about the whole thing... There was no chance they were staying, it was known for longer than they admitted that they were leaving, the rallys at the forks, the 'save the jet's " stuff.. it was all pointless cuz the team was going.... regardless. It was gone. Teemu and others were somewhat lied too for a while by the people in charge, saying we might stay, we might stay, it's not guaranteed we are leaving. Yes, the american owners pick Keith over Teemu but... nobody ever told teemu the truth about the entire situation either. Rumors are once he found out for sure that the team was indeed leaving, he asked to be moved.

This team as it currently sits tho... it's not a playoff team.. It's a damn pick 8-12th again team and that's the worst that could happen actually.

Gonna admit, tried logging on a few times, but... didn't... was wondering if maybe something was up with my phone or internet lol. Then while on twitter during the Jets intermission last night, saw a MBB post mentioning that the site is down.. I was like ok makes sense, thankfully is their problem lol and not mine exactly (don't mean that but, it wasn't because of my phone ) Not that big of a deal tho considering the holidays and all.

Jets were out played big time... Only reason they won is Helle.. Problems still there, Too many penalties still and just a lack of execution really.... If Mrazek played the whole game for Detroit, this one is way closer... Helle the only reason it was 4-1. Easily could have been 6 7- 4 detroit.

I guess, maybe what this proves is that it don't matter if you have all the money or fame in the world.... you still want power and i suppose in a way, sexual assault or rape or whatever you wanna call it... it's all about the power that you crave. Personally, I'd never sexually assault a woman, it just wouldn't happen, i was the type of guy at the bar where if a drunk girl was all over me, i'd kind of back off a bit just because i just didn't see the fun in taking advantage of a drunk person. LOL. the most one sided trade ever is by far the Gretzky to LA one... That didn't need to happen. I wouldn't count the Teemu trade because he wanted to go, he didn't want to be here to see the team leave, he's said it b4, he wanted to be traded cuz he couldn't deal with the team leaving Winnipeg. If that team stayed here, Teemu wouldn't have been traded.

It's kind of 2 early to say that for sure but.... Considering the Jets not only got Myers and Stafford but Lemieux, Armia and what turned out to be Roslovic, Yeah it's kind of looking like a steal for the Jets. Still could see us flipping Myers and eventually Stafford in the future but... regardless, that trade is definitely looking like a big win for the Jets. Bogo and Myers are similar players tho, Bogo is more physical and Myers brings more O but Bogo is always hurt... Kane is probably better than Stafford, he has a higher ceiling at least, may never reach it, probably won't... was he not a 3rd or something overall pick? That's why i'm wondering when is Kane considered a bust?

Congrats to Helle on his first career shut out. Guy is a beast in net.. Doesn't make lots of spectacular saves but doesn't have 2 cuz his positioning is so strong. Guy is way better than both Pav and Hutch and its' not even close actually. LOL. Gonna have to send him down to the Moose when Pavs gets back tho since the guy isn't helping us tank at all... bring back the tank commander PAV. Makes you wonder what our record would be if Helle was the starter to start the year? He leads the team in wins, save percentage and goals against and quality starts (aka less than 3 goals allowed per game or above average save percentage) Guy is very good. Plus, shocking isn't it... but he actually stops people on breakaways. WHAT IS THAT ABOUT...

Gagner really has dropped off his production big time recently, He's a victim of the Oilers rushing a player who probably wasn't ready at the time. It's unfortunate cuz the guy has some skill, quite a bit of it actually, But... that contract i guess and his production = nobody will take a chance.

I feel the government should probably just say, yeah you know what, forget about the loan. I don't know. I really think it's kind of silly they have to pay it off.

Umm. We have 3 offensive d men who are all right handed. Signing Ladd and trading Buff makes sense when you think about it. Trouba. Myers or Hamonic is still a solid 1 2 rhd pairing. You look at the LW depth tho and Ladd Perreault. Who else. Thorburn and Halischuk? Yup. LW depth is weak. Rhd depth is strong so yup trading buff makes sense. Connor is a prospect who is still probably a year away. Ehlers Plays the right side. LW depth is weak. Ladd is still on pace for over 20 goals.

Probably but I'm not sure that the jets would have interest in him. He's a center. Him and Scheif are similar... Scheif better defensively tho. I'm not sure that I see the need for another center tho. He doesn't play the wing. I think Eberle or yakupov tho would be 2 guys of interest to the jets. Maybe Eberle more so since he's a somewhat proven goal scorer. And b4 people chime in with the you wouldn't get Eberle or Yakupov plus a first for Buff.... I'll bet you would. .... RNH eh. I guess maybe if it's Buff Burmi going to Edmonton. That might get you RNH and the 1st. Trust me... Buff will get more than ppl think he will. A first is a given.... no doubt about a first..... I'm thinking if they want buff enough.... Eberle yak or RNH plus that 1st would get it done.

Oilers might make the playoffs this year. They have the luxury of being in a pretty weak division. Jets last in central would be 3rd I believe in the Pacific
