I might be more interested in trading up from 22 if a Guy like Keller falls, Kid has a ton of talent, natural Center unlike PLD who is a natural wing, who hasn't really played much center at all.. Or Heck, It's likely a guy like Rubstov could be there at 22, I'm not sure i like the idea of trading myers plus armia type for pick 4 only to take another forward prospect when we are stacked with them. If the idea was to trade myers plus armia type for 4 and then to trade 4 to montreal/arizona for their 1st and 2nd rounders, sure.. I'd be all for that but cuz then we could take the LHD that we kind of sort of in a way need, but... to trade Myers plus armia for pick 4 only to take another forward? Not sure it makes much sense. Rubstov,Kunin could/should be available at 22. Personally i think Myers plus Armia type cuz that's what it would take to get 4, I think reality is that if we were looking to move Myers, have my doubts right now but if we were, I'd think a Myers for LHD of similar type of pedigree would make more sense. Not sure how i feel about trading a top 4 D man in myers for pick 4 when we really don't have the need for any forward prospects at the moment. Laine is a given at 2, No doubt about it now, we are taking him, it's pretty much a done deal but.... i'm not sure if trading myers ++ for pick 4 makes much sense actually. Honestly i'd probably rather look at moving Enstrom at this time. Not sure what he'd get you but... maybe a mid to late first.. and then take the BPA with that pick. Buff. Trouba. Myers. Morrissey next season isn't awful top 4.

Hubbard, Patrick, Patton are interesting to watch in my opinion. i Believe they all have legit chances at making the roster. CJ WIlson, good player no? The missing fingers thing is interesting but he's a good player, if he can adapt to the missing fingers, which might be tough as a corner back, but if he can, he could be a surprise. Corney? Wonder what's up there actually, every draft pick has signed with us so far.... except Corney. Makes you wonder if he's chasing the NFL still.

The Expansion draft, which i doubt will happen, cuz it's basically all quiet on that front, I'd look for relocation of Carolina and maybe Arizona still, but... regardless, the expansion draft hopefully plays no role in their thinking. The Jets will lose a player in the expansion draft if there is one, need to accept that, all teams will lose a player, Also with the Jets having tons of forward prospects, it wouldn't shock me to see them move a couple for D help, Sanheim in Philly would be a guy i might look to target.. Philly needs Forward help, Jets need LHD help, It's a match... Untouchable Jets are obviously Scheif,Ehlers,Connor,Pick 2, Little,Wheeler.. Lemieux probably is close to untouchable also... Maybe Petan plus Armia for Sanheim is fair.. who knows. He is a LHD tho and would help us, not this year but down the line he would plus he's expansion exempt. The LHD issue is somewhat over exaggerated tho, I mean if Trouba plays the left, Enstrom,Trouba,Morrissey,Chiarot,Stuart <-- could be worse, Poolman will sign when his UND career finishes up and he's a left handed D man also... it would be nice to get LHD but i wouldn't go insane here trying to find one... Philly tho is a fit, it's a match there, they have LHD prospects, we have forward prospects, It just makes sense there. Jets will lose players the next little while, whether it's because of expansion draft or putting them on waivers and them being picked up by another team, or trades, It's gonna happen, it's what happens when you have tons of prospects who are knocking on the doors, some are still waiver exempt but a couple won't be very soon, Believe Lipon,Kosmachuk and Armia are not waiver exempt this season, could very well lose one or more of them, burmi could be lost via waivers or trade.. LHD is a concern, but it's not really a huge one... Buff, Trouba. Myers.Enstrom. <-- solid top 4. Yup Enstrom is older, so Morrissey replaces him on the 2nd pair with Myers in a year or 2.... Poolman replaces Chiarot on the third pair... Would be nice to get a d man with 22 and 36 tho, and i'm sure they will... funny thing about D men, sometimes the guy drafted early doesn't turn out to be the best one, sometimes it's the guy that's drafted later... and this draft, it's very likely that a guy like Jake Bean or Kale Clague or even Dante Fabbro, when it's all said and done are better than Juolevi, Segarchev and Chychrun.

Definitely need D help and a goalie not named pavelec. I feel this year we will be better but until pav is off the team and our LHD doesn't include mark Stuart.... we won't make the playoffs. Really do need LHD help. Big time. I like myers. I like Trouba. Trouba will sign here. Just a matter of how long his deal is for. Bridge or long term. Buff Myers Trouba is excessive tho. So it only makes sense to move one of myers or Trouba for LHD help. Or we keep them both. Trouba plays left side. And top 4 thus season is buff trouba myers enstrom. But Toby ain't getting younger or better so gotta replace him sooner rather than later also. D is an issue. Morrissey poolman might help but not sure either are top pair guys.

Not gonna bother with the Free Agent list, Jets won't touch any of those guys. I'd be very surprised. Only "free agents" i see them signing are AHL free agents to maybe bring some veteran leadership to the Moose. I highly doubt they sign any UFA's for the big club tho, I'd be shocked if they did. Only real need is LHD and i really don't see many on that list worth going after, maybe one or 2 if they took a 1 year deal but they won't so Jets won't be active at all in free agency. I don't see the Jets every really being that active in free agency, I just don't think that's how they want to go about building a team. These guys also tend to get overpaid, they call it free agent frenzy for a reason and that reason is GM's go nuts and then regret that contract a year or 2 later. They might sign the odd guy here and there, value guys to value deals, Perreault as an example. Good Value for Matty P but they won't ever sign free agents to big money long term deals. Regarding the Moose coach, someone over on another hockey site said he heard from people that the Jets are interested in a junior coach who is still in the playoffs at the moment to coach the Moose, so really... it's pretty much 4 teams, Brandon,Red Deer,London and the Quebec team. Can probably cross Brandon and McCrimmon off the least as i highly doubt he's going to leave the Wheat Kings anytime soon if ever.

Like Auston Matthews... Nolan Patrick has a late birthday. Matthews born September 1997. Patrick was born September 1998. Both missed the cut off draft day by less than a week. If both were born a week earlier... Matthews would have been draft eligible last year. Would have probably gone 3rd to Arizona behind McDavid and Eichel. Patrick would be top 3 maybe even top 2 this year. No doubt the jets would taken him.

Sean McKewen last year went back to school but just signed with them. He's lucky he had the option to go back to school tho. Some guys don't. Not sure Corney and Couture have that option.

OEL is UFA in 2 or 3 years. Matthews is RFA for a long time. Arizona owner already said OEL is off the table therefore there is no deal to be made. Arizona is a good young team. They aren't going to gut it because the local boy who nobody cares about in Arizona is irrelevant to them. Domi is a huge merchandise mover for them. He was born in WPG. Irrelevant where ppl are born... people want a winner. Trading for Matthews guts that team of their young players and turns them in to huge losers which means fans don't show up. Good young team who need some D prospects. Should get one at 7. This idea that Toronto WPG or CBJ would move out of the top 3 is ridiculous. The only teams who could trade for 1st is wpg and cbj but they won't cuz there's 3 very good players in this draft and all 3 of those teams are guaranteed one.

Not a chance. Arizona is picking at 7. Leafs won't trade down with them. Not a chance. Arizona would have to gut their team to the 1st overall pick away from Toronto. There is a much realer chance of Toronto taking Laine 1st overall than there is of them trading that pick to Arizona. It's basically Matthews or Laine 1st overall to Toronto.

It is her parents money she is losing. It's her Dads money more specifically.
