I thought that they got suckered in to making a few calls by buono on the sidelines. When you can hear Wally talking most the game... it's pretty obvious that the refs were influenced by what he said a couple times.

Watching at home it was pretty obvious that the whistle blew b4 the ball came out. I even said to my girlfriend that it's bomber ball cuz the whistle blew. Rod black was pretty convinced that Harris fumbled and that kind of put me at ease cuz he's wrong most of the time. Announcing was pathetic. They basically verbally jerked off the Lions and especially buono all game long. Refs were just awful also.

Perreault Scheif Wheeler Laine little ehlers Buff Toby Myers even Connor. .. they have made the team and know it so what I saw tonight we're guys who really didn't care about the result of a game that means nothing. Buff taking a penalty and then laughing about it is a huge reminder that pre season means pretty much **** all.

Hutch looked fine. Buff Wheeler Scheif Little etc looked like they didn't care. It's pre season. The goal is to not get hurt.

This Is a young team with a bright future. Why not let the younger goalies grow with the team. Helle has nothing more to prove in the AHL.

Lol. Hutch has better career nhl numbers than pav does. It's crazy how much some people read in to pre season games. Hutch was fine. It's going to be Hutch and Helle this year. Pav will be traded or waived. It's happening. You know what you take from these games? Nothing really. Dano and Morrissey stood out tho. Solid games from both. Tanev LowryCopp Dano 4th line looks good to me. I think Burmistrov Thorburn and Chiarot really struggled tonight tho and have all preseason. To get back to the goalies tho... Maurice has said From day 1... 1 game doesn't matter... Pav getting a shutout against the echl version of Calgary doesn't matter. Helle letting in 5 vs nhl team pretty much Edmonton doesn't matter. Same thing with Hutch tonight. He's said they will look at their overall body of work... and if you actually do that.... Hutch has better career numbers than pav and so does helle. Pav has no future here. None zilch zero Nadda. He done. Hutch Helle will be the goalies to start the year.

D needs to step up. And Did. Moe is our MVP

St Louis Chicago... they are both in the Central division. If Yak finds his game this is a massive steal for St Louis.

Dressler is way better than Denmark. It's not close. Dressler Denmark Smith Gurley Kohlert is a good group. Adams probably replaces Denmark when he's healthy

Thor and Lowry upstairs with Chiarot Strait Peluso Petan De Leo Copp Moose bound. Pavelec on waivers. Lemieux and Mathias week to week on IR. Melchiori Moose bound also. I just get the feeling Pavelec is gonna be waived for some reason. I just sense some changes coming and I think they will move on from Pavelec seeing as how he doesn't have a future here

Word is they are trying Perreault with Laine and Armia at practice today.

Tanev Copp Armia and Morrissey and Postma probably can disagree. Even Connor and Perreault were decent defensively. It really was Chiarot and Myers who were garbage along with Burmi and thorburn

Guy on other site was at the game and said Laine seems to be focusing more on his defensive responsibilities right now. I know people think Laine is just some ovechkin like goal scorer but he's not... he's actually way more defensively responsible than ppl give him credit for. He's a very good 2 way player

How do you send Tanev down when he's actually earned a spot. I don't think you can. I think its possible Burmistrov is waived to the moose

Laine wasn't great but he certainly wasn't awful. Connor was pretty good. Tanev should I repeat should make the team. You know what. .. can talk about Laine Connor JoMo Helle all we want but they are young guys who will have ups and downs. The guys I thought stood out today and not in a good way were thorburn (he is just 2 slow to keep up ) Chiarot (been pretty awful all pre season) Myers (I think playing with Chiarot played a role in that, myers Chiarot is just a bad pairing) and Burmistrov (if you want a play to die give it to burmi ) these are the guys we should be concerned about but the kids like helle (Maurice even said he was hung out to dry) JoMo Connor Laine and even Tanev were all pretty good actually.... they weren't bad... and they weren't awful like the guys I mentioned who are vets

Connor was pretty solid. 2 short handed goals and 2 power play goals against helle tonight. He was solid but seriously hung out to dry big time. It's pretty pathetic when the play of Chiarot and Myers makes me think maybe Stuart isn't so bad after all. Buff wasn't good. Morrissey was. Postma was. Chiarot was awful.

The D is going to be a very big problem this season. Wonder if Myers was traded if Trouba would sign cuz myers has been awful.

Anyone blaming Hellebyuck for any of these goals need to recognize that our D outside of Buff and Morrissey are hanging him out to dry. Chiarot has been directly responsible for 2 goals. Myers for another.

Morrissey is more nhl ready than Chiarot melchiori strait and Stuart. I think he makes the team. If he doesn't. .. the decision making process needs to be questioned. Enstrom right now is our only legit nhl calibre lhd. Morrissey has looked the next best. If they take Chiarot or Melchiori or Strait over Morrissey.... I don't know what to say then.

Melchiori is an interesting player. I went to several moose games last year and he was a total dumpster fire on the ice every time. Only Kostalek and MacWilliam were worse. Then he gets called up to the Jets and the guy that looked like he wasn't even AHL calibre... well he disappeared and a capable 3rd pairing guy showed up. Odd case really. He can't really make a pass and can't really clear the zone butI don't think he's as awful as some think. I think Morrissey is much better... he can pass and clear the zone... that's important and I think Morrissey Buff would be a great pairing. I would then think myers enstrom makes the most sense with Postma and Stuart/Melchiori. I actually have been impressed with Melchiori more than Chiarot and Strait this pre season. I think he is also 3rd pairing at best.
