Those stats do mean something. They mean Hellebuyck has been better than Pavelec yet Pavelec plays. This is the problem. He has played better than pavelec. Yeah he had 2 tough games where he was pulled... it happens but he has better numbers... including a better Winning percentage than pavelec does yet pavelec keeps playing. Why? Cuz he makes timely saves? Lol. He's 4 and 3 and has let in 3 plus every game he's played. Timely saves? Bullshit. Donald Trump has coined the term alternative facts... seems like when people talk about pavelec they are using alternative facts also. Noone thinks he's the answer? Good. Then why does he play then? Helle Needs to play.

The fact that he talks about the kids and letting them struggle which they haven't exactly done is just talk. Scheif Ehlers Laine are 3 of our top scorers. All kids. It's the vets who are struggling. And until the vets actually get held accountable nothing changes. The argument can easily be made that our best players this year have been ehlers Laine Scheif Morrissey Trouba. The "kids". It's funny to me that people actually believe the crap Maurice talks about when his actions shows that he's just all talk. Whats the difference between Noel and Maurice? Not much actually. Both great talkers but both had/have trouble because of their lack of action

That QS stat is interesting. Quality starts aka 2 or less goals allowed. Since 2007 when that stat first started there is only 1 goalie in the nhl with less than 50 percent quality starts and more than 250 games played. Care to guess who?

Why rush them. Let them develop their games. Some guys who don't do much in the ahl are very good nhl players. I'm not sure why anyone is writing off a guy who is a first year pro tho. They all develop at different times.

They are much better than last year. They have a shot at the playoffs for sure. This time last year I think they had about 8 or 9 less wins

That's the style they have played this year. If you watch an Avs game when they don't play the Jets.. they playing grinding style. Jets let them run and gun on them tho
