He's played more games than Laine. Laine was hurt. Matthews hasn't missed a game. But it's irrelevant as the Calder is a popularity contest anyway. Toronto plus American star is more important to the NHL than Winnipeg and a Finnish kid. That American kid with no personality can sell the game to the states. The Finnish kid with personality can't

Of course he does but their main goal is to develop future Jets. If they played in Thunder Bay would people even care if they win or lose? I've been to a few games and the 6000 plus mostly kids seem to enjoy themselves

I hope helle and the young ones (Laine ehlers scheif even Morrissey Trouba ) all play well but I hope we lose more than we win.

He's young so I'd probably let him develop a bit more for the Moose unless he absolutely knocks the Jets socks off at camp.

Moose main goal is 1. To develop jets players 2. To win Mike Keane andHeisinger were on the radio recently and both said that. The moose winning is irrelevant. I mean in all honesty nobody cares about the AHL. It's a developmental league.

Roslovic is a natural center who can play RW. Jets developing him as a center. He will be a damn good one soon Kyle Connor with the Hatrick tonight as moose win 4 2. For the first time in forever I can truly say we are in good Hands with The Trinity. It wasn't that long ago we were the gongshow of the CFL. We aren't anymore and a lot of that is due to the efforts of Miller . He was the guy who gave Walters a shot and Walters gave oshea a shot and together they have turned this team around and in reality... rather quickly when you actually think about where we were organizationally a few years ago.

Don't think they have those thoughts. Ufa will be moved if there's a market for them but outside of Stafford I'm not sure there's a market for pavelec Thor postma and quite frankly if there is.... 5th 6th 7th round picks are most likely.

This team will start competing more when the reigns are handed over to the younger players. You'd think being swept in 4 a couple years back would show you its time to move on from some vets and transition to a younger team with a brighter future. Perreault Is NOT part of the core.

Vince and Punk get a long. Punk and HHH? Not so much

Once you realize the future is scheif Laine ehlers Connor and the young guys it will make moving on from Perreault who isn't a part of any core group a lot easier

Perreault is a victim of being paid 2 much. They probably see Connor in that 2nd line LW spot. 4.125 Is a lot for a 3rd line winger and the savings can go to little trouba ehlers Morrissey Laine etc cuz they ain't gonna be cheap

Poolman and Niku are better than every Moose D currently

Kostalek sucks Who coming? Spacek maybe Foley and Franklin Harkins maybe niku on D. Poolman on D. There's a few coming. They are just less heard of but should help

I don't get the size thing either. Wouldn't the better argument be Bass wasn't really an actual middle linebacker? He's more of a WIL like Wild so not that big of a loss really since can't have 2.

Unless Matthews misses a week or 2 due to injury he will play more games than Laine has. Matthews has currently played more games than Laine and the Jets have played more than the leafs do the games played factor doesn't help Matthews at all
