I've read many articles that state NAFTA was a whole lot better and more fair to Canada and the USA years ago. So if we go back to let's say 10 years ago... I think we are better off. Mexico pays people peanuts and seem to benefit the most from the current agreement. I think Obama and Harper for that matter did some good things but I think they also did some things that perhaps weren't in the best interest of the majority of Canada and USA interests. Trump will be interesting. I actually agree with his immigration stance. I don't think illegals or criminals should be allowed to stay. I don't think families should be torn apart however if your family member is in the US illegally... well, to bad so sad in my opinion. I don't think all Muslims are terrorists either and I don't think it's smart to single out a group of people based on their religion. But.... Trump said what he said because he wanted to win. He won so I'd suspect that most of the stuff he promised he'd do.... he won't. He said he'd drain the swamp bug the people he is giving jobs in his administration to, well, not exactly draining the swamp. Trump took advantage of people's stupidity. Has said he loves stupid uneducated people... why? Cuz they are easy to manipulate. Not all 60 million people who voted for him are... but I'd suspect a large chunk Is.

It's easy to say that in Alberta... but lots of people here really don't care for the location of the stadium.

I hate to say it because it's not an issue for me but lots of people I know have said that they won't go back to igf because of the first year gong show with parking and traffic. Yeah. Weak right but lots of people feel this way. More than we all think. It's not an issue anymore and IMO never really was but to lots of people it's a big reason why they won't go to games.

You realize Vegas can scout the AHL also right and have? He was sent down to work on his O game and it worked. AHL is not some minor league ECHL... it's a developmental league. Being sent down doesn't mean that you arent good enough for the NHL... it means they want you to develop parts of your game.

Some teams just have your number. Philly wins their 6th straight game vs the Jets. Brutal non call changed the game for sure. The 1 0 goal. Jets appeared a bit rattled by the non call and then... Jets had some momentum in the 3rd but a slightly questionable to say the least interference call on thorburn killed that.

I think they are... I'm just not sure if they were used to the best of their ability at times. Example: First half vs BC... pressure and getting sacks 2nd half: not so much. Is it the players who got it done in the first half or the way they were used in the second half.
