250 is insane, bet for 50,000 more you could get both alex hall and chris matthews. But with all that being said, just realized the guy has a young basically newborn child, I think he stays in Regina.

I'm not convinced he goes to Ottawa. All that money or not, I'm just not convinced. He probably will but, one would assume that if they offered him 250,000, he would have signed it by now... Obviously he hasn't and is thinking his options over. Maybe money isn't the be all and end all here. 250,000 is way way too much but i'm still not convinced he takes it.. 40,000 more than Josh Bourke, 45000 more than chad owens... Ottawa is being crazy here, trying to win now but, it just won't happen.. Dressler or no Dressler, that Ottawa team ain't winning. Maybe it's just hope or a gut feeling, but.. beware of the quiet one in all this, we know sask and Ottawa are interested, we have assumed Winnipeg has interest.. Winnipeg is being the most quiet of all 3, there has to be a reason for that. Perhaps it's as simple as to not get anyones hopes up but then again, maybe it's too respect the wishes of dressler and his agent? Who knows.. Not sure i like this negotiating through the media that Ottawa seems to be doing.

Probably because for as much love as Kromah seems to be getting, the real run stopper last week was Ian Wild who had 14 tackles and barely anyone is mentioning him.

Miami might be a huge market but it's a market that doesn't care about hockey. They gave up on Atlanta, they will give up on Florida one day also. Phoenix also has an out in their contract coming up too, Don't be surprised if Phoenix is on the way to Seattle.

There are some strong rumours going around that MH370 may have been hijacked by that ISIS group and some people in the know are saying there could be another 9/11 coming up very soon, on 9/11/14 actually.. some pretty big time military people, retired i believe are speculating that the MH370 plane could be used by ISIS to attack the USA.

Gonna throw up in my mouth a bit here but so far, These ticat jerseys are my favourite. They look nice, clean simple and look like ticat colours. I can't give anyone an A, not even BC as i think all black is just too simple.. but Ticats B+ Lions B Redblacks B Als C Riders F Bombers F Arogs F

Congrats to all of them, Only name i know is Ritchie, but congrats to all 4.

The reason the media has somewhat moved on is because the bigger story is ISIS and a possible threat to the USA. These guys are for real, they ain't messing around, beheading people on youtube videos.. Remember MH370? dominated the airways for a long time, what ever happened there? Then it became about Ukraine for a while then something else happened and they went on about MH17 for a while, then ferugson happened, now ISIS.. Fact is, as much as some may not like to admit it, there are bigger stories in the world than a black guy being shot by a police officer.

Asper has been around longer than Miller has been. Say what you will about Asper and all that, but without him, there is no new stadium. Facts be damned, Asper has done a lot of good for the team the last few years. People can talk about location all they want but for most the city, st james wasn't the easiest place to get too either. Fact of the matter is, Asper has been on that board for a long time now, without him, there is no new stadium. The guy might be emotional at times, but you know what, he's done a lot of good for the team too and this coming from a guy who honestly, I'm not a fan of Izzys kids. Not sure what ASPER ever did to some people, honestly, reading some posts, you'd think he's a murderer of some kind who has done no good.. The fact is, the guy is a successful business man who has his own development company, has done a lot of good for this city, more than you me and the other guys on here thats for sure. Not sure why people always have issues with people who are more successful than they are.. But honestly, that post above is so misinformed it's crazy. Miller didn't add asper, Quite the opposite actually, Asper was around long before Miller became president of the team, Hell Asper and the BOD are the ones who hired Miller.

Apparently 2 teams will be moving, the guesses are florida moves to quebec city, they are already in the same division. One team moves to the west and the Toronto and probably Seattle get the expansion teams.. 32 teams apparently still, 16 west, 16 east. Anybodies guess as to who those 2 teams that move are but one would assume Florida has a good chance of being the one that goes to quebec city.

Sounds like it's just as simple as restructuring. It happens in business all the time. This is a community owned team, the bombers are looking to save some money. I can't really blame them. Bell, don't know the guy, seemed like a nice guy but he was a nice guy who got paid a nice chunk of money for a very long time. He will be fine. In the end, it comes down to money and i'd suspect this one did too. The fact that they aren't going to go out and hire another COO and VP says all any of us really need to know.

The only thing I'll say regarding the post about it being an old boys club, Miller came in and got rid of some of them "old boys". Not really sure those posts really make sense. Unless people are referring to the BOD, but the BOD has removed a few older guys and added a few new younger guys and gals for that matter. Thinks are a changing, for years and years people referred to us as a gong show, Bell might have been a nice guy, Bannon too, Others also but... Times, they are a changing. I'm fine with whatever decision Miller makes. He knows what he is doing regardless of some pretty obvious personal shots a few posters have taken against him. People talk about Ameet Pall kicking Iso's dog on the other thread, Well apparently Miller has done the same to a few on here too. It's a business after all.

If Matthews is released from Seattle, my guess is he's on the first plane to Winnipeg the second he clears waivers.

How can a guy who has had five 1000 yard seasons in this league be over hyped? Some people obviously don't like him because he was a rider but that doesn't mean he hasn't been one of the best most consistent receivers in the league.

Maybe they are just releasing players who haven't really done much with them? Not sure why releasing 3 players, i guess maybe some people have heard of them? is that the reason? cuz some have heard of them? but not sure why releasing 3 players is a big deal.. Anderson? Discovered he was a ******, more of a distraction than a help Johnson? Slaton and Steele Sinkfield? Obviously, he has not play that well.. Had a chance to step up with all the argo injuries and didn't. The marketing people? I'd release half of them too if only 10-15,000 people showed up, why bother paying marketing people when it's not working... I refuse to admit that argos are the problem in Toronto, The problem is the Rogers Centre, It's the biggest issue the argos have. If they could get out of the Rogers Centre in to a 25,000 seat stadium of their own, They would probably sell it out.

Dressler,Denmark, Moore would put us right up top on that list of teams with elite receivers.

What comments about the Bombers ? That the Bombers had nothing for him to pick from and pretty much took Kohlert because the league told him he couldn't pass ? Pretty much, that's a **** comment there for sure. It might have been true but... It's still a **** comment.

where have they said "not interested" though. I didn't see them say that anywhere, they said "luke warm".

i prefer this approach. Don't get peoples hopes us, Desjardins needs to be careful here, cuz if they don't sign dressler, he is going to look very dumb. "He is going to look very dumb." implies he already doesn't look dumb. See Burris, Henry, and comments about our team around the expansion draft, nevermind how he crapped all over himself while in Hamilton. LOL. Good point. Should have added an er to the end of dumb then.

Wonder if money is all that matters to dressler, i wonder if the opportunity to play closer to his home in North Dakota is more appealing to him. Wonder if Drew Willy Pat Neufeld and Graig Newman makes a difference.. Wonder if IGF makes a difference, wonder if O'shea makes a difference. Lots to wonder about here.. If it's not all about money, not convinced that it is all about Money with him cuz he's going to be making good money regardless of where he goes...

Messam has a shoulder injury. Notes - The game was delayed for several minutes after Saskatchewan's Scott McHenry was injured while tackling Stefan Logan on a punt return. A Roughriders spokesman said McHenry was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons after he went to the dressing room holding the back of his neck. … McCallum's second field goal of the game, a 16-yarder in the second quarter, moved him into second place all-time in the CFL in field goals made, surpassing former Calgary Stampeder and Lion Mark McLoughlin. McCallum now has 675 career field goals. … B.C. cornerback Dante Marsh returned to the lineup after missing the previous game in Toronto with a sore hamstring. … With Brown back in the lineup, offensive lineman Andre Ramsey was held out. Saskatchewan running back Jerome Messam, a former Lion, was sat out with a shoulder injury. … Rolly Fox, the father of late Canadian Marathon of Hope runner Terry Fox, received a loud ovation as he completed the opening coin toss. … Lions defensive lineman Jabar Westerman, who has run afoul of management in recent weeks due to an assault charge that is pending, was a late scratch. He was replaced by fellow Canadian Steven Doege From the Vancouver Province.

Probably means they are talking to him now and would rather not go out and do what desjardins said about dressler. I just don't buy it that they are "luke warm".. Earlier it was, who would he replace, now its luke warm... read between the lines... They are talking and they are interested for sure. Think about it, when ted laurent was available, bombers said we have no interest.. They haven't said that here at all. But reading the last post prior to mine, You'd think they have but they haven't.. Luke warm? WTF? luke warm means they have interest cuz they didn't come out and say they have NO interest.

450,000 for hank, 250,000 for dressler.. Man, no wonder this team sucks.. You almost got 3/4 of a million dollars invested in 2 guys. That's crazy. I'm sure Walker is getting paid a decent chunk also, plus Shologan signed an extension so I bet right there.. 4 guys = 1 million bucks or more.
