  1. these two statements are saying exactly the same thing, just worded differently....
  2. Maybe I should've omitted "again".... but anyways, you get my point... it would be hilarious to see that fanbase lose their minds if he somehow became successful on another team
  3. Two things… beating the riders at their home (our second home) in the GC would, of course, be extremely satisfying… but 1) the riders likely aren’t going to make the playoffs and 2) even if they sneak in, they’ll get killed in Toronto or Montreal in the east semis… and as many people mentioned, it doesn’t matter who or where we play, the team goal is 1-0 every week… and that doesn’t change if we’re playing on nov 20 ps…. that ended up being like 4 or 5 things
  4. You know what would be hilarious… if Fajardo went to another team next year (say Ottawa or even Hamilton)… they surrounded him with good skill position players, an oline, and a good system… and then he turned out to be good again 😂 😂
  5. Assuming Zach doesn’t suffer any major injuries (insert obligatory knock on wood)… I don’t see why he’s couldn’t be a very effective player for another 3-5 years
  6. I don’t follow the Argos very closely but I’ve never heard of either Churchill or Giffen… meanwhile the bombers got the league MOP and a top 3 P/k in the league… I’d say that trade worked out ok
  7. You’re 100% right and I think most rider fans are getting on board with this too… but my advice to the riders would be to sign O’Day and Dickensen to long term extensions and make sure they get Fajardo locked up long term too… this current version of the riders is my most favourite version to watch
  8. Hey, when you don’t win many actual football games… you try to find wins where you can… I say let ‘em have it 😂
  9. Just think… if they had beaten edm in a gimme game and the bombers hadn’t laid and egg in hammy… the riders would basically be clinched into the cross over 😂
  10. I don’t think there’s an argument at all… with the exception of a broken play here and there from Buck … Kevin Glenn was consistent a better QB
  11. The difference is we knew the bombers were a long shot and probably not a true contender… the riders came into this year thinking this team was loaded up and “all in” for a cup run… and they’ll likely miss the playoffs
  12. meanwhile the Bombers were just pumping out HoF QBs left, right and centre after Kelly released Glenn...
  13. Don't forget the Bombers clinched first with that 45-0 blowout of BC... and still played all their regulars the next week against Mtl.... it was the following week - in Mtl - where we played a bunch of back ups and had a real stinker... And yes, it did work out in the end... but the WF was way closer than it should've been with the Bombers constantly shooting themselves in the foot... and the first 3 quarters of the GC were ugly too
  14. What I meant is it'll be interesting if he makes it to the Grey Cup playing for Toronto... against Winnipeg... eyeing up his 5th GC loss in 6 years
  15. I don't really see it as an issue... He's not going to anticipate a botched punt... the Sask punter is generally really good and that one muff ended getting a lucky Sask bounce... like an outfielder in baseball, better to be too deep than have the ball go over your head...
  16. He plays for Toronto now, right?.... hmmm, could be interesting if he makes it back to the big game
  17. stop trying to ruin my joke!
  18. Does Peter Nygaard have a brother??
  19. I have no hate for any Reaves brother... don't have enough energy to hate anybody these days... I'm just genuinely shocked that a team would waste a roster spot on a very bad football player
  20. Unfortunate... let's go out and get another ring for him... worst part is this could be career ending at his age. Thanks Nick, you were awesome for your few years here.
  21. Obviously you got the joke... and I do understand Sask's thinking in that one... it helped them win the 2013 cup... but I just love how much that trade benefitted us long term, so it's fun to make fun of them
  22. literally my first thought.... WTF, Jordan Reaves is still on a CFL roster??
  23. but in fairness... it's not like anyone is giving away Canadian o-linemen at the deadline... imagine how dumb of a GM you would have to be to trade away a 24-year old Canadian OL with starting potential for a rental pass rusher... then imagine how dumb you would feel if that guy became an 8-year starter for his new team helping them to 2 Grey Cups and possibly more... I can't imagine a GM or team ever doing anything that stupid...
  24. he was more of a role player in 2001... he was the unquestioned superstar lead back in 2007.
  25. I'm thinking from here on out if Stanley needs to rest instead of practice... I'd have no concerns with that
