The end of that Calgary/Toronto showed the difference between a coach like Dickensen and O’Shea… I’ll preface this by saying I think dickensen is a great HC and one of the best offensive mind in the cfl in the past 20 years… in the CJOB post game show O’Shea explained that he went for it on 3rd and 5, thinking we could get the first and kneel out the clock… meanwhile, In Calgary, Carey picks up the first down with the team up 19 and 31 second left in the game… instead of kneeling out the clock, they run another play to try and score… for no reason other than to rub it in… if there was tie-breaker stuff in play, I would get it…. But otherwise, all you accomplish is running up the score and risk injury to your guys in all three phases since they had to run teams and defence out there for a couple plays.

BOLO has never been one of the guys people were complaining about… so either you’re thinking of someone else or just making **** up to back up some argument that doesn’t exist… also, when people have complained about roster management… it’s not about guys who shouldn’t be rostered… it’s about why guy are being rostered and not getting reps… so in theory, if BOLO was one of those guys… the people making the point would be advocating for him to be getting snaps… which goes against the second point you made… not everything is an argument EDIT: maybe you’re thinking of Tavaris Harrison?

I think everyone is rightfully confused by this post…. Do you even know what you mean? what is “orange shirt month”?… are you talking about breast cancer awareness month?… how are the two related?… how are either of those things political?… did you even put one iota of thought into this before posting?

This is possible... but we also haven't heard anything from Walters in a long time... it's not like he's come out and said he likes the roster and is not trying to make adjustments... I would bet he's been putting the work in and nothing has materialized yet.

The part I find funniest... is they were supposed to be loading up for a home Grey Cup this year... this was their idea of going "all in"... with THAT roster... I don't see it happening this year... unless Edmonton offers up a good package... They won't potentially help a division rival in Sask or BC... Mtl and Tor are locks for the playoffs this year... and there's no reason for them to move on from MBT or Harris at this point... Hamilton has hitched their wagon to Evans for at least this year... Burke in Ottawa won't make any major trades before the offseason when he can consult with his new HC... But Ottawa could be the Bo wildcard... if they bring in a coach from Calgary's staff (maybe Killam?)... maybe he would like to bring Bo over, or work in tandem with Masoli (not sure his contract situation)

This is definitely not correct... Sask is a long way away from clinching a crossover spot... Ham can still finish 8-10, meaning Sask would have to be at 9 wins to clinch a crossover... and an Edm loss means nothing for the crossover... I think a win and Edm loss means Sask finishes no worse than 4th in the west... which means nothing.

The two games between Wpg and BC could end up making a difference… if the bombers go 1-3 (unlikely as that is) and BC goes 4-2 with two wins against the bombers… BC will be first. I honestly don’t think it’s a bad thing if the first game against BC is still meaningful… even if we lock up first in that game then we go bye, meaningless game, bye, west final… that’s a month between meaningful games… Bombers survived a long lull last year but didn’t look quite like the same team in the WF and the first three quarters of the GC.

Interesting thought about this Hamilton win... will it project them to a strong final third of the season to lock up a playoff spot?... I've been thinking for a while that Sask is all but assured the cross over... but that's when I thought they'd finish 9-9 or 8-10... now it's entirely possibly Sask doesn't win again this year... they play in Winnipeg, in Hamilton and the a back-to-back with Calgary... if Calgary has any hope at second, I see them taking both of those games... even if Sask ends up 7-11, Hamilton needs to finish the season 3-2 and Montreal 2-4 to block the cross over...

Funnny enough it’ll really depend on Calgary's playoff status… if Calgary is locked into 2nd at their season ending back to back… the riders could probably take at least one…. If the stamps have something to play for, I’d guess two losses for the riders there

As much as I would enjoy seeing the Riders lose this game.. I think Edm just sucks too much... they truly put the L in L'ks...

I know the bar is set low on what we give the Riders org credit for... but literally every team in professional sports would allow their player to attend something like this. But I do agree with your first comment and wish his family all the best... as much as I love making fun of the riders and their players... that earlier comment about his "wife or his dog" was was pretty low brow/classless

Some people are misinterpreting what Baily does on this team... he does get targets... he makes clutch catches... he does make very difficult contested catches... he does all the little things really well (which has been discussed ad nauseum).... I don't think he disappears at all, just maybe on the stats sheet... the only thing Baily hasn't done this year is put up monster stats... but is there a better receiver than Baily at making contested 12 yard catches on a scramble play on 2nd and long?... I want him on the field all day on game day.
