Welcoming Other Fans
You know, the disappointing part about this sequence of events is it looked to heavily favour the Bomber... almost a sack, then a massive hit and subsequent defensive TD... but in reality it helped the Riders... no sack as he was not touched down, ruling was incomplete pass, rendering the hit and TD meaningless and Odell took 15 yards for the horse-collar on Durant...

This is something people forget... the Packers are notorious for investing time and money in priority UDFA'a... which Gray was... him not being game ready in his first TC is basically expected...

Lock of the Week 11
Now that I'm good... I'll actually have something to cheer for in the Ham/Tor game... no Green TD! (same thing applies to sunday afternoon)

Whether they admit it or not... Montreal is in a rebuild.... but trading away Vernon Adams seems like the dumbest thing they could do... who are they developing to take over from Durant next year or the year after? Also... Montreal's rushing stats from last night: Durant: 1 rush, 19 yards (sounds like a scramble {scrambled ham and eggs maybe } where he saw some open space) Willy: 2 rushes, 18 yards Sutton: 6 rushes, 4 yards Logan: 1 rush for 2 yards assuming the three QB rushes are scrambles... they called 7 rush plays for a grand total of 6 yards gained...

Maybe I'm just drawing a blank on this nice Friday morning before a long weekend... but who, specifically, are you referring to here... Loffler vs Macho? Bond vs Neufeld? I would guess it's highly unlikely Neufeld goes anywhere this year... You don't give up National O-line depth in a year when you're a contender...

Haha, you're still on this? .... BTW, possessive requires an apostrophe... c'mon, it's basic grade school grammar! I don't know why people get so bent out of shape about this... it's his opinion... it's a stupid opinion, but he has every right to have it He saw how "ham and egger" Nichols was on Canada Day... and he'll see it again this weekend...

If we all just trusted the coaches decisions at face value (which I mostly do)... what would be the point of even having a discussion board?!

I'd be shocked if BC or Sask don't end up with a better record than whoever is 3rd in the east... I think - barring some second half collapses in the west - the cross-over is almost guaranteed...

who comes out is the tough decision... that's what he's saying... putting a healthy Dressler back in the line up - especially against sask - is the easiest decisions the coaches will make all year!

definitely... not saying Ham would trade him to Tor... just think that would be the ideal landing spot for Collaros...

I could see Collaros rekindling his career in Toronto... back to a familiar setting with good coaching... Hard to think Ray lasts longer than this year...- First Central Scouting Bureau Rankings
Please tell me #1 prospect David Knevel's name is pronounced k-NEE-vul.... as in, Evil Knievel...- Bringing the Riders back to earth and their fans back to reality ...
C'mon, you haven't predicted the response already.... "The Sask fans have bought 10,000+ tickets for the Banjo Bowl, meanwhile we have generously set aside 2000 tickets at the historic and truly one of a kind new Mosiac Stadium for Bomber fans who have failed to purchase them. That is all that is holding back a sell out right now" - Riderfans, probably- Bombers Sweep Players Of The Month (August)
I don't care to go over there... but what are the chances Riderfans are losing their minds over Gainey not being one of the award winners?? My guess: fairly high...- We need to petition the CFL Commish to host LDC
I get that you're just arguing semantics... but c'mon, there's no way you don't understand his point... If the Bombers win: Bombers 16 points; Riders 8 points = 8 point gap vs Bombers loss: Bombers 14 points; Riders 10 points = 4 point gap..... therefore, a 4 point swing...- Bombers Sweep Players Of The Month (August)
that's actually an incredible stat line for a shut down corner who gets thrown at less than 5 times a game...- Injury Report
If this was the plan, wouldn't it just make more sense to sit Thorpe and let Flanders continue the role he has been doing?- Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
excellent point... and I was, by no means, saying all he has to do it apologize and all is forgiven... he has shown absolutely nothing as far as responsibility and atonement... and therefore does not currently deserve a second chance...- Bringing the Riders back to earth and their fans back to reality ...
why not... I'm essentially saying that even if I lose money (which was technically not happening in this case) I'll still be happy that my team won... I cheer for the Bombers EVERY GAME... and I am always happy when they win and pissed off when they lose... sometimes it's just smart to hedge your bets... bet with your brain, not your heart ... I guess I don't meet your standards for fandom- Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
I think we all agree that most people deserve a second chance... if they earn that right... if Art Briles went out admitted his mistake, donated time and money to helping women's groups, reached out to the effected families, etc... if he did ANYTHING to atone for his mistake (not that you can really take back what he did).... I might feel differently about him... but instead, he filed a wrongful termination suit (not sure if this is still on-going) which essentially painted himself as a victim.... that, I have no sympathy for.... Rachel Nichols said it nicely on PTI a few days ago... paraphrasing: "the fact that Art Briles has a job in football and Colin Kaepernick doesn't just goes to show you what we really value in this sport"...- Bringing the Riders back to earth and their fans back to reality ...
Exactly my point.... you called out people as "not real fans" if they didn't predict a Bombers win... we are all hoping the Bombers win every game but a minimal amount of CFL/football knowledge suggests that will not happen every game... For example: I watched the Calgary game back in week 3 (was out of town so a rare missed home game for me) hoping and cheering for the Bombers... but I picked Calgary in both my pools b/c that was the smart bet... I would've been even happier to be wrong.... does that make me a bad fan? - Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
