Before you all jump all over me, yeah there are guys to be excited about but this is two years in a row now we’ve just completely misused our preseason

Really looking forward to see how Wilson looks behind centre, after giving us a promising glimpse in saskabush....He looked great once he found his groove AND IF he can back that up with another show of talent....hey, we might have  found ouselves another qb.....It'll also be interesting to see how the new pivot looks, although I guess we can't expect a helluva lot, do to his laaate arrival

He’s a neck roll type. We don’t draft soft ol either. From what I saw in the first pre season game he’s above average nasty for our current ol. Plays like a bigger more athletic desjarlais.

 I think it is a good chance for Wilson to take another step forward like booch said. I'd love to see him do a better job of progressing from his pre snap read, picking up the blitz and moving the pocket or ball quickly to beat it. I'd also love to see a bit more of him using his legs. Liked what he showed in game one, hope he can build off it. 
Like every one is saying, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what the D brings. 
Mcghee and Ford seem locked in on the corner spots, Like to see more of them. 
Seeing what kelly can do at S in some extended reps.
The Imp Lbers is the juiciest, who will separate them self? They all looked good last week, but don't have near as much DL talent in front of them this week. Some one is gonna grab a starting job this week. 
Schmekel can he continue to grow in this big step forward and be a legit rotational piece for us? 
Samson I thought would be head and shoudlers above schemkel but he's gotta play his way on to the PR imo. 
Adams, I want to see lots of snaps, and at multiple alignments including some DE. Guy is such a freak athlete if he has a half decent head on his shoulders I'd keep him on the PR at the least for sure. But he could make a big case for carrying 2 imp DTs, and I hope he does. 
Dobson looked real good at both G and C last week. I look forward to seeing him get a bunch more snaps at C. 
Wallace was the best interior OL we had last week, super excited to see if he can keep it going. 
Lofton, hopefully he isn't tipping, and improves when it comes to handling speed. He looked fine when some one tried to bull rush him. 
Coleman at LT I thought had the best chance to beat out lofton, didn't shine last week be great if he did this week. Really need one of the imp OL to step up this week even if lofton is locked in at RT, we need a back up or two. 
Smith at RB and KR, I hope he gets lots of touches. Could be a super sub and KR as a DI which would add even more depth to an incredible offense. 
Clercius and MCI, one starting and should get a decent amount of reps hopefully mci gets some decent time to carry the ball and block. 

Those guys and I think Devin Adams are the ones I’m most excited to see. Wondering if Sy Barnett shows anything as a late camp add who didn’t play game 1 also.

For the amount of balls they are gonna see with Lawler/Schoen/Demski/BO and Woli in the offence I not seeing it as a super vital spot anyway...I hope we use it to roster a huge upside guy....someone who can really rip the top off a defence actually....Something we havn't really had here in a long time.
 

and the guy who can collapse the centre. 
 Our Defense worked like our O did at it's best. It started and ended with us winning the battle in the trench and punishing the other team. Leaving them broken and beaten by the start of the 4th. We gave up on that with the DL for some reason. We gotta get back to it, and I think we have all the versatility and roster flexibility plus the guys to do it. 

7 or 8 guys rotating through the DL. That's what worked in 2019 and 2021. Lack of that hurt the past 2 seasons. Just wear down the opposing team.

Haba I definitely view as more of a situational pass rusher and agree that he's not someone I want getting a huge compliment of reps.  He's also a prime example of a guy who could / should be pushed and challenged to make the roster.  He's not someone who should be handed anything simply because he was with the team last year.

Hyped on Devin Adams.  Hoping he gets reps in the next game and goes Stove on some opposing o-linemen.  That push up the middle along with the new rotation could be 2019-2021 level goodness.

I am of the thinking that if we go with a 7 man rotation I don't really care who they pick out of Haba/Garbutt/Rivers. Mostly because I have no idea who is looking the best at camp right now.

I was whelmed but I’m sure there’s something they’re seeing in practice. I liked Rivers as a signing to begin with, so if he’s coming on strong that’s great

I can’t see Lawler and Schoen ever leaving now. The one year deal with Schoen was to try and sign them both together next year. Schoen gets a slight bump, Lawler takes a haircut and it all works out the same

My brother was at practice yesterday and said they had a few formations with Collaros and Streveler on the field. Sweeps/PA/ reverses. 

I'm really pumped for week 1!

Didn’t lawler put up like 1000 yards in half the games? Playing half the games as the next guy. That’s pretty good. 

I think Lawler is going to have a monster year if he and Zach stay healthy....
