I think you can put this loss on Adams.  Dude should not have dropped the shoulder on two tacklers six yards short of a first down while his team had the lead.  Not a play to sell out your body on. 
He gets hurt, his backup is unprepared and can't move the ball at all, and the Stamps lose a game they had well in hand.

Say what you will about Bighill and Alexander's declining play but their voices on that side of the ball are sorely missed.

The thing that makes me chuckle here is that people are posting the daily reports from practice, which clearly stated there were no real changes. DT even said Ball likely on for Novak, otherwise everything the same.....
...and then everyone freaks out when the depth chart comes out. If there were going to be any changes they would have been installed day 1 of the week. 
I don't know enough to know what's right or wrong in this situation, but clearly they feel it's mental mistakes more than lack of talent. If they lose to a bad Toronto team, there's going to be a lot more questions....

Griffin is mostly playing 4th LB opposite Kramdi in a lot of snaps, so it's not good if he becomes invisible.

It doesn't have to cover 70 yds. or end in a TD to be considered a great run, in his first 2 seasons in Wpg. I fondly remember him breaking through into the secondary and rumbling for a few 15-20 yd. beauties.  Those brutal runs + a fur coat is what his legend was built upon.

You keep saying that...name one IMPACT player that left here for any other reason than we wouldn't pay them, they went to the NFL,  or our geography wasn't to their liking. Sure there are some guys that exited off the fringes of our roster for more playing time and not a single one of those guys would make an impact for us whether they stayed or not, We've lost an all star team of talent to $$$$$ and that lands squarely on KW's shoulders.
I'm quite happy with the job they've done. 2 Grey Cups, and 5 straight trips to the big game. I am, however, not impressed with the job either man is currently doing.

Chris Streveler's first two seasons were 2018 & 19, That was a long time ago. He's not 24 anymore. He's become an aging 30 with the kneeinjury & being forced to play such a physical style of game by Pierce & LaPo. Buck wrecked Strev last season.
If his level of play the next time he's on the field as a sub or starter is similar to the last game, then the question is, do you keep Streveler on the roster or elevate Wilson to #2 & make the young 1st year qb (Artoepus) currently on the practice roster the third stringer? Would you cut Streveler?
The way the qb situation looks to be shaping up long term, unless we find a talented free agent (perhaps Powell from Hamilton?) we are going to have to suffer through some hard times once Zach's career is over. There just aren't many talented young free agent qbs out there. I'd rather get that **** over with sooner rather than later as a fan. Make it a priority to find another starting qb. Which as we know will probably take awhile as in multiple seasons. The Elks still haven't found Mike Reilly's replacement. (Scary thought).

Other team's fans used to call Strev a glorified running back, but he really hasn't busted off a great run since he returned last season.

Yep, Strev is just a Dustin Crum wannabe.

Strev. has nothing to complain about, he's getting the same opportunity to play that Dru Brown had in 2023, it's up to him to show every GM in the CFL what he can do with the opportunity provided.  He may top out his career as the Dustin Crum of the West.

I need to remind that there was a time when you also opined that things were good, and expounded at length on how O'Shea's culture attracts players. 
It was not just media sound bites, there was a time when players legit wanted to play in Winnipeg.

Explain how that might happen? If he was #2 right now instead of Strev. he'd be picking up valuable game reps, 6 Q's so far this season.  Instead he's wasting away on the sidelines waiting for his football career to expire.

If Zach reconsiders his future, they need to sort that decision out before the end of this season and move fast, starting QB options heading into 2026 are slim, top 3 available candidates Arbuckle, Fajardo, MBT, maybe Taylor Powell can be lured away if BLM continues to play with Lawler.  No promising backups on the horizon, stockpile has been depleted.  Given the obvious lack of options available, won't be surprised if they stick with Zach no matter the consequences or hand the ball to Strev. and struggle to achieve a .500 record.  

That pick in the 3rd was the turning point for sure. Whole team just delated like a sad balloon after that.

Streveler needs to know not to make that pass, you are 1st and 7 and Brady was feasting, get rid of it or push yourself forward to make it 2nd and 5 or whatever... But I don't know what Clercius was doing there, he just sat down at the front of the end zone by the pylon hoping the ball makes it to him... Streveler scrambling and is about to throw off balance, go get the damn ball even if you catch it at the 1 or 2 and hope you can make a play, instead Greene jumps right in front of him and it ends up being curtains.
