  1. "Roundup", brought to you by the makers of "Agent Orange" and "Dioxin".
  2. Already signed by the RB's.
  3. They're obviously scurrying to get all of their ducks in a row but here is the beginning of the narrative......just sit back and watch it grow. Bloody chicken shits will not set foot on land but will obliterate Iran from the sea and sky.
  4. I see BC brought in QB Austin Apodaca, a Bomber TC cut from 2017 who looked fairly promising. Also looks like they lost Ty Long to the L.A. Chargers, so they'll be heading into camp with no experienced kickers unless they pick up the Riders recent table scraps.
  5. I want to see if he can ever get back in shape, some can, some can't. He's signed up for pro ball now so it does make a difference.
  6. This is sweet but it's just sentimental drivel from a movie that actually perpetuates the myth that America at heart is a wonderful country populated with good and just people. Meanwhile in another galaxy, they're usually dropping bombs by the thousands on people living in mud huts in order to steal their resources and prop up the US economy. It's propagandi bereft of reality, but it's good for a woody or two, They didn't show the part where Carrey, is clubbed down, carted away and deported back to Canada!
  7. Agreed, now is the precise time for a bipartisan committee to examine the function of the US government and reset guidelines so that the political discourse is not so polarizing and divisive, set new rules and follow them regardless of political stripe for the betterment of all. The way their political system is deteriorating, their government is almost certain to be non-functional within a few short years. Nobody can approve of the **** show it's become.
  8. That may be one of the reasons for the electoral college system but not the main reason. The founding fathers who created the US constitution were men of privilege and power, they created the electoral college system to protect their position and ensure that a mass uprising such as the French Revolution could never gain control of the USA. Blathering on endlessly about democracy is bollocks, the system is set up for the wealthy to protect the privilege of the wealthy, as we see today, as has it always been. https://www.factcheck.org/2008/02/the-reason-for-the-electoral-college/ Here is the comical irony of their intent that missed the mark with Trump.. "As Alexander Hamilton writes in “The Federalist Papers,” the Constitution is designed to ensure “that the office of President will never fall to the lot of any man who is not in an eminent degree endowed with the requisite qualifications.” The point of the Electoral College is to preserve “the sense of the people,” while at the same time ensuring that a president is chosen “by men most capable of analyzing the qualities adapted to the station, and acting under circumstances favorable to deliberation, and to a judicious combination of all the reasons and inducements which were proper to govern their choice.”
  9. H.C. position in the XFL looks to be fixed at $500,000 USD that's multiple times what he would have been earning as a CFL O.C. or H.C.
  10. Tommy Condell was waiting in the wings, so maybe it's not as bad as it looks.
  11. As someone who has sent and received hundreds of Interac e-transfers over the last 5 years this story blows my mind. https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/rbc-customer-out-of-pocket-after-e-transfer-fraud-1.5128114 Having a bank account with another Canadian bank they know virtually everything there is to know about the individual who defrauded this customer and yet they won't take the steps necessary to shut him down and legally charge him with theft? Who knows, he may have done this hundreds or even thousands of times before. Secondly how stupid is this criminal master-mind when it is so easy to trace his identity and location? It would be much more difficult if the money was re-routed to an offshore account. Here is the police response. "Hoover filed a report with Peterborough police, but an officer told her that it's difficult to clamp down on online fraud and her fight to recoup the money could take ages and would likely be fruitless." I hope this lady publishes the criminal's name and address on social media and a group of concerned citizens congregate and burn his house to the ground, or better yet if the fraud is linked to a kid pull him out of his parent's basement and lynch him. What's the point of paying for a justice system if they choose to do nothing?
  12. Returns have certainly lost their spark since O'Shea handed off the ST duties to Paul Boudreau, it might be time for a "readjustment".
  13. No telling if Mitchell is looking to return to the CFL this year or continue his pursuit of an NFL position, he's only 26 so I don't think he's ready to give up on the dream yet. Good thing about Matthews, he says he's done with the NFL.
  14. It sounds so pretentious watching the trailer almost made me gag, city folk move to the country and discover farming, what an adventure!
  15. Not much evidence he is a receiver, he looks to be mainly a returner and a gimmick player who runs sweeps much like Lankford was.
  16. San Jose re-signed Kane in 2018 paying him $49 million on a 7 year contract, now I don't follow NHL hockey closely anymore other than the playoffs but that seems like an insane contract to offer a player who has never topped 30 goals has peaked and is now entering years of declining value.
  17. Frankly relieved Ray has finally decided to retire, the Argo O-line was unable to protect him well the last few years and he was never fleet of foot. He'd no sooner come back from one horrific injury only to be subjected to a gangland beating leading to his next horrific injury. It was too painful to watch. Glad he managed to pull off a G.C. win in 2017 but being close to a miracle, that should have been his last hurrah.
  18. Season 4 has been pretty inconsistent, worst season so far, I think they'll wrap it up in season 5 with the lot of them headed for the hoosegow, Sacker and Connerty may be the only survivors.
  19. CFL Headlines@CFL_Headlines CP Source: Argos quarterback Ricky Ray expected to announce retirement https://www.sportsnet.ca/football/cfl/cp-source-argos-quarterback-ricky-ray-expected-announce-retirement/ … CP Source: Argos quarterback Ricky Ray expected to announce retirement sportsnet.ca 33m
  20. Examining the draft records the most appalling thing about those drafts wasn't so much the picks Mack made (although they were bad enough) but round after round when the Bombers had no selections at all. Nice to see Joe now working his magic in the Als. war room.
  21. Don't forget Paul Swiston, at 6'-9" 342 lbs. he was hard to miss, along with Pencer and Sorensen they were supposed to be the towers the O-line was built around.
  22. In addition to an influx of abandoned wells many oil and gas companies are no longer paying taxes or landowners their lease rights. https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/trident-exploration-alberta-oilpatch-rma-surface-leases-1.5121507 "Under Alberta law, landowners can't refuse companies wanting to develop oil and gas below the surface of their land." Curious, not only are they irresponsible they're ******* immoral. "The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, which represents most oil and gas companies in the country, declined an interview request and said it was "unable to share any insight into this issue." Of course....
  23. Very good article on James Murphy, worth the read for the praise he heaps on Dieter Brock, Rick House and Joe Poplawski. https://www.bluebombers.com/2019/05/06/alumni-profile-james-murphy/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  24. I think the writing on the wall was there for Waggoner, he may have lasted as a ST player a bit longer but he couldn't crack the roster at WIL or Safety and that was on a fairly weak D at the time.
